I think this would be a highly interesting and productive discourse.
it is pretty straight forward: the wider villain's opening range and the worse he is postflop overall, the wider your calling range from the big blind should be. of course this is only a qualitive statement and doesn't give you insights along the line of "should i flat Q4o to a minraise?", but if you take into account your overall profitability with those hands (i.e. Q4o might have been a break even flat against a minraise historically for you against all villains), you can adjust your calling ranges to specific villains.
as to which post flop traits are important: most important stat is cbet percentage. if your opponent is raising a tight range but only cbetting like 40%, then you can still call most hands. if however villain is opening 80% but cbetting 90%, it gets alot tougher to play a hand like 76o, because your potential of flopping a strong hand might not be enough. then you will have to take other factors into account, can you get him to fold alot with a small checkraise? or is he the type to barrell of alot, so that you can calldown and let him hang himself?
another important factor is his behaviour against 3bets preflop: hands like 65o might be marginal calls preflop, but might be trivial 3bet bluffs against certain opponents with suitable dynamics.
