AX hands and small pocket pairs issue in spin and go? AX hands and small pocket pairs issue in spin and go?

I have playing spin and go for more than one month. But, I have some doubts on ax hands or pocket pairs in BU, BB and SB position.

Is it really a shove blindly in 25 bb deep with ax hands against unknown opponent?

Same with small pocket pairs?

Or can I minraise or cbet it in flop to win it ?

Which one is a best option?

And one more thing, if you are going to say player orientated, then can you explain the types?have playing spin and go for more than one month. But, I have some doubts on ax hands or pocket pairs in BU, BB and SB position.

You are asking a lot of fairly difficult to answer questions that rely on a lot of factors. Position, stack size, exact hand and the villains you play against.

Good answers to questions like this don't just get handed out anymore

Minraising said hands (folding to a 3bet) and playing them postflop if called (incl. cbetting and barrelling on boards that don't hit opponents' ranges too well, for the sake of denying them the realisation of their equity) is better than shoving preflop, if the effective stack is bigger than 13-15 bb, which can be proved using Cardrunners EV.

When you face recreationals, shoving small pocket pairs is even a bit worse than vs regs because the former call with more hands that flip 50/50 with yours, while regs fold many of those and give blinds up.

Rag aces (like A3o) are also not very big favourites over typical hands that recreationals call with (especially suited (semi)connectors), so shoving Ax is still suboptimal.

Thanks for suggestion. So, you are saying that against regular it is optimal but against fish it is not. According to me, there are two fishes agro fish and passive fish. Is this true for both players?

Well the first one is gonna call you with a lot of weird flips and the second is gonna call you with better, so.. yeah

You ignored the word 'even' in my post. I was trying to say, vs regs, it's suboptimal too, but vs recs, it's a bigger mistake than vs regs.

Regarding types of fish, the difference is rather not in their calling ranges but in that I like to 1) fold to a passive player's 3-bet but call an aggro's one, 2) give credit to passive's postflop aggression but tend to get the stack in vs a superaggro player if I have any draw + overcards or a made hand (any pair).
