based on my chip EV over the past 7000 spins, if i can play 7000 spins per month i can make $2000 which would make me happy.

but for some reason i just cannot put in volume. i dont think its just laziness, theres some mental block or something, every time i play around 10-30 spins im just done, and if i force myself to play more i tilt easily and start to get angry and click really fast. i wish i could play like 250+ games per day. but i just play like 10-30 games a day and although im winning i cannot earn the kind of income im looking for ($2000/mo) due to lack of volume

any ideas to overcome this problem?

Take a huge loan from a loan shark. That should do it.

It's a difficult problem to overcome. Most successful players seem to really want to play, and getting them on track is more about guiding that volume (through knowledge, emotions, playing limits).

Can you break your day up into multiple sessions of 20-30 games?

It's an uphill battle though, you're at about 10% of the volume you want to do, that's a huge difference in reality versus goal.

Look into Progressive Overload Principle.

IMO take a step back and work on setting realistic expectations. 7000 games a month is an unrealistically high amount of games to just start playing out of nowhere. It takes time and dedication to work work up to those kinds of levels. On top of that, actually playing 7000 games in a month is physically and mentally exhausting. It's easy to abstract away the actual energy and time doing the work and just see the number at the end, but the reality of putting in that type of volume is much less pleasant--it's not really the easy life that the numbers look like (at least in my experience lol).

$2000/month may sound like a good goal to aspire to, but it could just as well be a delusional fantasy that is distracting you from the reality at hand. Setting more realistic expectations makes it easier to be efficient with your time and avoid painful situations when reality differs from expectation.

What you just described probably holds back a lot of winning players from becoming full-time players. I worked hard jobs in construction, and I would say a 10-hour day of physical labour left me feeling less tired than 8 hours of poker did.

One reason you might not be able to do it is that you don't want it bad enough. If someone wants to achieve a goal, they will find a way. If not, they will find an excuse.

Another factor to consider is that when you are playing more games in a day, there's going to be more bad beats, there's going to be downswings, days where you don't feel like playing, and days when you are sick.

It's one thing to say "if I played x amount of games, all my problems go away," but there's far more to the picture than that.

+1 to the progressive overload principle as well. I also had struggles putting in hours when I first starting playing fulltime, and it's something I had to work on over time. You definitely aren't going to go from 40 hours a month to 160, but if you gradually added 5-10 hours a month, I think it's something you can hit eventually. Be patient and consistent.

Longetivity is so important.

Many could take up a challenge and grind day in and day out for week or two, some for a month or two and then be exhausted to the point where they are back where they started.

It is very important to manage time and tasks well. To have a healthy lifestyle so that longetivity would be possible.
