15 hands in. Villain folded 2 out of 4 times when I raised pre.

When villain flats flop I put him on a weak pair or draw. ott I thought if he hit the nine he would likely gii given how wet the board is. I didn't expect him to have many combos of 53 in his range given that he had shown he was capable of folding pre + I thought he would probably fold it ott anyway given that the 7 would make make a higher str8. I figured the only hands value hands he could be flatting were straights that he either flopped or made ott and that most of his range was made up of weak pairs and draws. So I set up for an overbet jam and planned on shoving any river higher than a jack or lower than a 4.

So is it ok to barrel off in this spot? Or did I make a mistake with this hand.

Boards pretty connected and wet. And if you do hit 7 you got bottom end of straight and board will be to wet to get paid off. I probably would of gave up on the turn here. But he wasn't showing any strength in hand so its a good 3 barreling spot
