Preflop I usually just shove over the 3bet; I'll also do this with 88+ AJ+. What buy-in is this?

Postflop you're getting 2:1, I probably fold just because you are 25% against most pairs, don't know what % of his air is shoving here, if he even has any after cold calling a 4bet.

This. You want to see all 5 cards with AK, and you're happy just to take down the pot too.

It looks like a bad call until that A hits.

I'd call it a nice call.

What you need to think about is why you are 4betting.

One reason ( for me at least) is to create a pot where villain can spaz out and shove air ( which AK is ahead of)

if your not comfortable with this, or if villain is not the aggro/spazzy type, then 4bai is preferred, especially if we are playing a straight forward villain as the straightforward types will not be 3b folding very often

You can't get away from this flop, you most likely have 6 outs + backdoor nfd, giving you about 30% equity. But on top of that, just 4-bet shove with AKs.

4bet is fine depending on player type. Call flop, if he shoves any air at all it's profitable.

Jam pre is fine. You gave us no reads at all though, so hard to say
