Advice sought for open shoving at end of low-stakes 6 or 9 handed Sit n Go Advice sought for open shoving at end of low-stakes 6 or 9 handed Sit n Go

When making it to the heads-up stage at the end of a multi-player SnG, blinds are high so I typically shove or fold. I think I have been open shoving too widely, though. I've been using the Push/Fold Nash Equilibrium. According to Nash, I can open shove with 76o for 10.7 big blinds and 87o for nearly 15 big blinds. While these seem too high, Sklansky-Chubukov seems too low at 2.7 and 3.8 respectively.
I'd appreciate some advice from an experienced HU player here. Perhaps recommendations for books or articles.
Thank you kindly.

I'm not sure about modern book/article/video suggestions, though there are a few courses for spins + 6max hypers around that do go into hu play somewhat. There are also some twitch streamers playing sngs and spins at a decently high level (ex. team651 and slayerv1fan) who you could look at.

In terms of strategy, though, generally speaking you definitely shouldn't be playing nash (push/fold) at 10+bb. Really, you shouldn't even play nash at 7 or 8 bb, and advanced players may not even play push/fold until around 4-5bb. Optimal play at shallow depths does involve some open jamming, but also involves a lot of openlimping, including with premium limp-traps. Playing push/fold only at 8 or 10bb is a substantially worse strategy than playing a more advanced strategy with both jams and limps.

You can see preflop gto ranges for free using gtowizard, so you can get a good idea of what types of hands you should be limping vs. jamming at 10bb, 8bb, and so on. I usually recommend beginner players don't play pure push-fold until around 8-9bb and more serious players to avoid push-fold until around 6bb, but you also have to put some work into understanding the postflop strategy at those depths. Hope this helps.

You should only push 76o when 8BB or less, vs average or good player you shouldn't be playing ONLY push/fold strategy untill 5BB and ONLY vs total fish you can be playing push/fold at under 3-4BB. There is example of how you could be playing when 10.7BB deep.
