im from russian speaking country ,and my english not so good for watching husng videos , i thing its not only for me , it will be very good if yours video series will create with even english subtitles .

I'm not sure what is available for subtitles that makes financial sense for us to implement.

However, sites like mirapoker in the past and pokeroff.ru as of current are offering our videos for sale with our permission in the Russian language.

I have a standard membership and watched quite a lot of the new(er) videos. I ask myself if it makes sense to watch old(er) vids too if one has the time and motivation to do so? The first video published is from February 2009 btw.

Do you think:

a) Yes, watching old(er) videos can still help to significantly improve one's game.
b) The games have changed way too much over the few years and it's just a waste of time.
c) Watching really old HUSNG vids might even hurt one's game because the shown style is pretty different from the one that is profitable nowadays.

Depends on the video,5 but the better videos in 2009 are still worth watching in my mind, especially for low to mid stakes players.

Most of 2010 and all of 2011 should be very relevant.

A lot of our coaches were hired because they can explain "best" adjustments correctly against a wide array of players, not because of their stats, so I think they do age particularly well in our domain.

Opponents and games have become more aggressive and shorter stacked, so watching shorter stacked videos with more aggressive play is ideal.

I would always recommend starting with videos from 2011 and 2012 first, but older videos should certainly be of value to you too.

How do you (all, not just Ryan exclusively ^^) think one get's the most from watching videos. Of course being concentrated is very important. So during video time doing other stuff like surfing the internet, checking mails, messing up wikipedia entries is a no-go. But are there other strategies you use? One relatively obvious thing I do is thinking about what I would do before hero makes a decision. I also try to anticipate what the coaches are going to say (e.g. hero check-raises, the coach pauses the video and I try to guess if he liked the c/r, the bet size...).

the best ways i personally think are,

1) taking notes, embeds the info in your head more and means you have something to reference later.

but better than that is

2) pausing video when a decision is needed in a hand, say out loud what you would do and y, then play the video and see if your reasoning and logic is the same as the coaches, if it is give your self a high five, if not take on board the reason why the coaches method is better.

In response to old video's i would recommend alot of the stuff by Croixdawg because he is possibly the best coach when it comes to explaining y he's doing something and in my experience help me think much more logically about how i play.

I recently bought a standard membership to the site. Ive started playing 3euro Superturbo games. I downloaded and watched all the endgame/hyper videos in the video planner section.

Is there any more videos on the topics of endgame, hyper turbo, super turbos? There was about 10 in the planner section. I tried searching but couldnt find anything. I know i can filter by instructor but I have no idea who might have these videos and dont want to miss out on any.

I know there is the hyper turbo package but im only playing the 3 euro games so $100 is a big chunck of my roll.

Look at any video that says "standard" below it and the description says hyper/super turbo or end game. You should find at least a half dozen more that are not on the video guide, maybe up to a dozen.

Just to note for anybody not familiar: I<3Poker's list includes only standard tier videos (what's currently available for $25 per month and includes over 300 total heads up sng videos).

There should roughly be about the same amount of hyper/super videos in the premium tier (which also gives you access to I<3Poker's list and includes over 600 total heads up sng videos).

I want to sign up, but I only have money on Merge. Is there any way I can transfer to one of the coaches for membership?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this on our site at the present time, and probably won't unless/until we rebuild our system entirely (not currently planned, though always considered, and namely something like US federal regulation or wide net state regulation might trigger a brand new site).

If you keep the videos that you download named or numbered and in individual instructor folders, it might be fairly easy to see what is missing, but that's the only real way I see right now, sorry.

Are there any other options than PayPal to pay for 1 month standard membership? I cannot use my PayPal account, because my bank doesn't allow me to integrate my account with PayPal and I also cannot transfer $ in Stars because the option is not available in my country.

Practically the only option for me would be Moneybookers, but it seems like that you can't pay for 1 month membership by that.

I play at the moment $30 turbos on stars. Should I watch hyperturbo videos or better not? Is it possible to adapt the hyperturbo play to an normal endgame of a turbo match?

Imo you should watch but applay them correctly as avarage player at turbos is much tighter than at hypers(speaking about lower stakes <=30s).
For example A9s is standart raise/call 25bb deep readless at hypers but at turbos vs most opponents I fold because they are just not 3betting wide enought to call.

hyperturbo play is fully applicable to any $30 turbo that goes to 30/60 blinds (max stack there 25bB), even 25/50 level for a merge super. once at that point in a turbo, you're essentially playing a hyper except hopefully with more reads. even for games that don't reach those blinds, there will often be key hand that puts one of you below 25bb and then you're in the same territory.
