Hello guys, does anyone have the old 800+ videos from the premium pack? Is there still value in some of them? I'm considering a purchase.

Specific ones will be helpful. Mersenneary has plenty of helpful videos in that premium pack. The "live play" videos in particular from any instructor are much less likely to be helpful. Concept videos can be helpful, same with theory.

Where are you at in your poker career? What buyins, where do you want to be? How much success (or not) thus far? There may be a better choice for you, I'd probably consider the premium pack more supplemental these days (for specific video choices).

Does anyone have links to articles that could help a total beginner with constructing ranges (preflop mainly) for HUSNG / spins?

Can't seem to edit my last post, so one more question here (@HUSNG guys): the Ranka's free PT4 HUD, would that work for spins? I'm just looking for something fairly basic but decent to get myself started at the low stakes.

Good evening (or day it depends) everyone

I'm planning to moove from France to USA and I was searching this information that I never found :

What it is the limit of sit and goes Head's Up that you can find on the software pokerstars ?

In pokerstars.fr it only goes up to 1000 euros, so is there any 2000, 5000$ ?

Thank you very much, cheers.

PokerStars.com isn't available in the USA.

Where in the USA are you moving to?

Give it a download and try, it's free. Set tables to 2-3 players or 3 and 3 players if you just want it for 3 handed.

I would avoid using the same HUD for 3 and 2 handed play though, it'll either have too few stats (bc it has to separate 2 handed and 3 handed to give you valuable info) or it'll mix 2 and 3 handed and your data won't be very actionable.

I'd set a HUD up to 3 handed and another to 2 handed then use our free HUD switcher to move between them.

If you want to keep your budget free you could try something like Ranka HUD for 3 handed and CoffeeHUD Lite for 2 handed if you want. Or if you prefer one over the other, use a copy of one for HU and another for 3 handed, so you keep the data from 2 to 3 handed separate.

Hey, you should be setup now (if your email was from 2 days ago I just got to it). If you don't see a reply back then please PM me here.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am currently reading the pdf book of Mersenneary and was wondering where do the hands' EV he mentiones in chapter 2 / 2-9 e.g. 76s (-0.3bb), T9o (-0.4bb), J5s (-0.5bb) etc. come from? Is there a table with all those hand EVs?

Your feedback is much appreciated!
Thanks,
M.

It should be from his own database (PT3 at the time I believe).

The point of the analysis he made at the time (and even moreso today) is that he is showing you how he analyzes his own data, so that you can do it for your own situation (no matter the year/buyins/poker rooms you play on).

Ryan is wrong.

The numbers are shove EVs--in this case 3b shove. Note this is clearly written in the E-book--before every chart, and every EV he mentions, he tells you what he's computing. In this case just read this which comes right before the EVs you cite:

"Before that, let's do a quick exercise. Order these six hands from best expectation to worst expectation from jamming (ignore for a minute the expectation from flatting), and indicate whether or not you would guess that folding is a better option than jamming: Q8o, 54o, J5s, 76s, T9o, and K4o. When you have your answer, keep reading.
These hands play differently than you might think. When we try to come to conclusions about them at this stack depth, we will inevitably use what we know from other stack depths, and not all of them are relevant anymore.
K4o leads the way with -0.25bb from the start of the hand, a full ľ of a big blind better than folding. K4o is a borderline hand playing against a minraise 20bb deep, but once you get down to 13bb deep, our opponent is actually raise/calling with worse enough of the time that when you add in the fold equity from jamming, mucking is a large mistake against this opponent.
76s (-0.3bb), T9o (-0.4bb), and J5s (-0.5bb) are the next three on the list. 76s is 37% against the calling range, which is not bad at all after fold equity. T9o and J5s similarly do OK. Q8o (-0.6bb) lands at 5th on the list, which will be a surprisingly poor showing to many. The problem is that Q8o, unlike K4o, isn't getting any worse hands to call, but like K4o is dominated frequently, leading to 31.9% equity. Even 54o (-0.75) is not far behind."

Read more closely The min-raise range and call 3b shove range are described above this section as well.

Hello,

thanks for your reply but this still did not answer my question. I wanted to know where do those hand EV values e.g. K4o has -0.25bb come from and how can I calculate them?

Really? Just read the damn article! As I said, and quoted from the article, it's a 3b jam expectation. The minraise and call shove ranges are defined earlier in the article (as i said in above post), so you can plug them into a shove math calculator and calculate them yourself :P

For a total beginner to husng (last i played them was in 2009 and that was turbo) Would chadders0 hyper turbo guide still be applicable today 2017? I have to say im not looking to be the next noqqx I just want to be able to beat 1.5s - 7s. With that in mind would chadders pack be okay to get?

chadders updated his pack about 18 months ago. solid fundamentals will be enough to beat the lower stakes for a decent clip, and you will get that from his pack. pbogz pack is also excellent for lower stakes players, and has more up to date theory on limping the SB which wasnt as prevalent 6+ years ago. and i happen to like his video making style.

honestly there's a lot of good free content that will see you beast the micro stakes:

Hey, any updates to video packs are free unless we've expressly mentioned that they aren't free (I don't think we've ever had a situation where we've updated a pack or software for an upcharge). But we never released a Chadders video pack update for new or old purchasers, what's on the site is the same pack you bought back then.

I am not sure, I will look into it and see.

Chadders did do a couple hour recording overviewing his prior videos, this was in fall 2015 or 2016. We didn't end up releasing it to previous buyers at the time because we couldn't find a way to get it to the previous buyers in an efficient manner, the old site format gave limited permissions that expired, many original purchases were done manually with text log records and we haven't had the resources to handle a large volume of reactivation requests that would go along with something like that.
