Part four of this http://www.husng.com video series on playing against a staic and transparent opponent from veteran producer Faarcyde sees Faarcyde review their sixth $35 hypers game. In this game, Faarcyde's opponent is starting to make some adjustments to the strategy that Faarcyde has been using to exploit this opponent's tendencies, but Faarcyde is able to see through and capitalize against these adjustments.

Thanks ChicagoRy!

Is their (zzztilt, phl500) videos more math/GT oriented or do they use "gameflow" "initiative" and use their series of videos more of a "the games currently play like this, so we do this" rather than teach me how and why i should do a certain thing (much like Will Tipton).

There's nothing wrong with the former approach, it's just not something i'm thrilled about exploring right now.

Hopefully you understand my question, if not i can rephrase it.

Also (i sneak this question in here as i know i will buy a videopack today, and damnit i want my moneys worth ), is there any reason for me to get Pokertracker 4 over my HEM2? I'm coming from cashgame and i'd really like to start off right with husng's. Money is not really a problem.

Thanks again!

The videos are less GTO approach, and more exploiting your opponent approach. I think in HUSNGs, generally, we have information that we can use to exploit opponents pretty early on, rather than trying to play an optimal style. So, unlike where you see a lot of hu cash instruction going, I think you get more approaches in HUSNG that tell you how to beat what you're facing in front of you, rather than a single approach that is best vs all players. I think that is likely to maximize your profit vs most opponents, since most players have big leaks (including ourselves), and the key is recognizing those leaks and exploiting them.

So, in short, less GTO, but it's not even specific opponent advice. In one hand, you might see an opponent raise and you have 97o, and zzz/phl might say "vs the opponent in this video, I am flat calling. Perhaps I might even 3bet vs this type of opponent, but vs most I am flatting bc of xyz. On the flop, I have a weak draw, vs this guy I am flat calling, vs an opponent that has shown us different tendencies of xyz, I would probably check raise to a size around xyz."

Otherwise, they do lay out some stagnant ranges/strategies to face against readless players. I hate to use the term GTO, because it would be a discredit/insult to the complexity of our game, but those readless ranges are designed to be "best possible use when facing unknown opponents." As with all information (imo) in HUSNG, you should deviate from anything readless very quickly, as information is very often going to be there for you to exploit.

Out now is the sixth and final chapter in http://www.husng.com's zZzTILT's most recent series of hand history reviews. In this series, the veteran coach and video producer reviews $15-$60 hypers hands sent in by an assortment of players, and this final video has the last eleven reviews of this series.

zZzTILT produced these reveiws after he completed his most recent premium effort, also for hyper turbo sit n gos, the Crushing Regs: The Way To Beat Tough Opponents video pack. The premium video pack totals to over six hours of content and is focused on, as the title says it, teaching the skills to beat regs.

I ended up deciding on coffeeyay's math-pack. Hopefully that combined with Mersenneary's book, both of tiptons books, lots of cardrunners-EV grinding and incredible motivation will be enough to start improving!

One Q though: I just bought a new computer. Will i be able to download my paid for pack on both computers or can i only download it once? I intend to erase my current harddrive.

You can download it on both of your computers.

With some dedicated hard work on your part, those tools should really help you improve at a rapid pace. Good luck!

This went unanswered? PT4 + CoffeeHUD is the current "gold standard" for HUSNGs. It's not without it's faults, and I'm sure HM2 is workable also.

Coffeeyay Math Pack is a fine choice!

In this video, http://www.husng.com's Arronwilson reviews five hands that he played against strong, thinking regs in both turbo and hyper turbo formats. Arron's purpose is to discuss street by street his understanding of how his opponents play certain spots and also what they think his range is.

We now bring coach, successful reg, and veteran video producer Pbogz's second installment in his http://www.husng.com video series of presentations for teaching beginner-level players heads up hypers. The format of this series, reminiscent of "classroom tests", has Pbogz discuss a given concept by first asking his audience a question, then presenting possible answers, and then finally revealing and analyzing at length which is the correct answer and why. The final question is a "homework assignment", and the next video starts by answering the previous video's homework question. In this video, Pbogz's primary focus is still with preflop action, although he does spend time discussing flop play as well. Those who missed the first video in the series should start with that first, which they can find in post #585 or in our official page for the vid.

Here is the fifth and final video in this http://www.husng.com series by Faarcyde. In this series, the veteran video author reviews games that he played against the same opponent at $35 hypers on FullTilt. Faarcyde chose this opponent for his tight and static play, which has given Faarcyde many opportunities to demonstrate good adjustments to exploit this kind of player. In this video, in which Faarcyde reviews their final two games against each other, his opponent makes the games more challenging with some adjustments of his own.

This video kicks off an exciting new series from zZzTILT: hand reviews of a series of two-table hypers games that http://www.husng.com's veteran coach and vid producer played against the heads-up master Daniel "w00ki3z./jungleman12" Cates! zZz's last premium video pack, Crushing Regs: The Way To Beat Tough Opponents, was - as its title says - all about how to defeat the toughest opponents, and jungleman, who plays only the highest stakes, is certainly that.

Here is the second vid in the new zZzTILT series that we at http://www.husng.com launched last week, a series of reviews of his games against Daniel "w00ki3z./jungleman12" Cates! To many, these two players need no introduction. zZz is an established coach and producer of instructional poker videos, and jungleman is a highly successful reg who competes in the highest stakes of heads-up poker.

Mattraq1 and RyPac13 of http://www.husng.com play a $10 turbo HUSNG on WSOP's WSOP.com legal real money Nevada online poker room. Mattraq plays while RyPac asks the questions, and together they cover topics such as the structure, the software, and Mattraq's strategy against this aggressive opponent, unknown to them, which is a conservative start while he looks for spots to open up.

We have a new video pack out by Will Tipton, Solving Poker With IPython And Fictitious Play, where he teaches you how to model different situations and solve them. Will has written two very highly regarded poker books on heads up no limit. Will introduces the concepts dilligently and with examples, and no prior programming experience is required. We've included the first 3 videos to give you an idea of what the pack is all about:

Will's introduction to the series

A walk-through of how to set up the development environment on Windows

We return with the third volume in zZzTILT's series of heads-up two-table games against Daniel "w00ki3z./jungleman12" Cates. zZzTILT is a veteran player, coach and video author who over the years has produced a number of free videos and premium video packs on http://www.husng.com, while jungleman is a master of the heads-up game who plays to great success at the highest stakes.

Of further interest to those seeking to learn from zZz on how to play against the best would be his last premium pack, appropriately titled Crushing Regs: The Way To Beat Tough Opponents. The pack contains over six hours of a variety of instructional content, including classroom style instruction as well as game reviews. More info can be found here.

Seeing your goals thread I assume you are looking for Hyper Husng videos. I can't say much about the standard/premium pack but I bought the Hyperturbo pack by Sentin and I think it has very good content but seems to have some missing information for beginning hyper players in my opinion. So maybe go with that and in addition the standard or premium pack.

I bought PokerTracker 4 through HUSNG.com which advised me I would get the "Standard Video Package (worth $50)" for free/included in the price.

Now everytime I go on to the site, I go on the Standard Video Package page but cannot watch the videos, only 1 or 2 minute clips. I used the reg code that HUSNG gave me, and yes I am logged in.

I always end up here. http://www.husng.com/content/standar...ge-50-5-months

Couldnt find anywhere else to make this post re HUSNG.com so hope you can help.

Thanks

Great material Chicago, i'm still trying to find my best poker game, been playing many 6max hyper-turbos at $1.50. Good fun but i don't think i'll see a profit at them so want to give HUSNG a try. Played a few so far and really enjoyed it although i lost all my $20 bankroll at $1.50s. will now look into studying - thanks to the abundant material you've made available for beginners like me - once I'm comfortable will load again and give it a real go at the microstakes. ty

Thank you for sharing this. Glad to see you taking a rational approach ($20 loss, studying, reloading against once comfortable). Good luck.
