Hu SNG - Bad Fold? Hu SNG - Bad Fold?

Ok let me just preface this saying this is my first post. I've played (losing) holdem for a few years online, never really studied poker or thought critically about hands, so now I just started using PT and want to refine my thinking and start reviewing hands with people. These are a few hands from a HU game I played. This was a guy who pretty much folded to most aggression (basically if he 3bet me I knew I was beat), very few hands went to showdown so I didn't have much of a read other than that he was pretty passive.

First hand for review:

How could I have played this hand better? I was basically scared he had JJ+ because of his PF raise and calling my 4bet.
His PT stats at this point were 92/33/38 (12) (I'm still working on learning/interpreting these stats and using them to make better plays..).

The check on the river was a huge mistake I think. Looking back I would have probably bet the pot on the river and folded if he shoved. I'm not the best at reading hands/ranges right now but I'd have guessed he had the straight if he shoved. How would you guys have played it or thought about it?

    Thanks..

I do not see how high was Buy in, but anyway...
1st hand - if you 4bet AT and hit top pair and top kicker only to fold - something is wrong here There is couple options - do not 4bet with AT for example against passive players. As I always say - chip them away while theyre not fight back. With smaller pot and not so huge aggression preflop hand could get to showdown. But if you decided preflop to 4 bet that guy, you flopped one of the best possible flops for AT. To hit two pairs on a flop you have only 2%, so you probably didnt try to do that, huh?

2nd hand - betting and folding to shove is ok - of course depends on amount you bet and opponent - if usually passive - shove probably = straight.

In first hand i dont know how u can 4bet hand like ATo which is behind for huge part of his range. Just think what hands he will 3bet u and what hands u beat? Maybe a8/a9 but very rarely. You are behind to hands like JJ+ and fliping with 77/88+ which he will probably 3bet. What are his 3bet frequency? Than you hit TPTK and fold to his raiseAI - for me ass played this was easy call but i probably never 4bet hand like AT. If u hit A u are behind his better aces most of the time. Worring about the JJ is improper because he will most probably play this faster pre - raiseAI ur 4bet.

Next time just call his 3bet or think to fold this pre if his 3bet frequency is low.

Second hand I will probably check the flop and call his bet on turn - if he check ill bet to procect from draws. Cbeting this size is bad because he wont fold any pairs and probably call all draws.
Ass played bet small on river 1/2 pot and fold to shove. Try to get value from J.

    Gl, sorry for bad english

it was a $6 HU sng. Both hands are from the same sng, but i accidentally only put the 2nd hand into the "hand converter".Thanks for the input.

On the first hand, my thinking was that since he 3bet and then called my 4bet ..and 3bet shoved on the flop, he had to have a higher pair than tens (or a set, but less likely). You're saying I should have called the all in there with AT? Am I too 'scared'?

He could also have AQ for example and just bluffed you out Hard to say whether you should call this all in, but if you started betting war preflop and hit such a flop - I would call. Possible he has pair lower than tens and put you on sth like AK. Even if you run into JJ you still have outs - 2xT, 3xA and backdoor nut flush draw.
