Villain is competent, calling off with s/down value and raising in position with good hands.

Just want a check on my line - do you think I could bet more on turn without scaring him away/making it obvious I had TP? The reason I bet so small was to induce - I wasn't too worried about a f/draw on the flop since I think he would raise, and a shove would be just over pot, potentially scaring him off his one pair + club.

Obv the risk is letting him bink the river . . . but if it blanks I can bet, giving him 4:1 odds (which most villains will call with any one-pair hands).

You could do the same betting differently, like 150-180 on the flop and a little bigger on the turn, which is better when you miss on the flop and probably has more FE if you want to 2 barrel the turn.
