Been lurking for a while. First post.

Villan played the first two blind levels tight pre. Post-flop, mostly straightforward imo. My initial instinct was to call, but I was in the process of talking myself out of it when I timed out.

What do you think?

meh. brb with calcs.

like it's so random. does he call pf with Q9o? Q9s? AQo? AQs? TT? JJ? KK!?

Would he c/c flop with KJ? QJ?

Would he c/c flop with KT?

Honestly, I'd never bet this turn w/o intention of snapping a shove.

440 in pot + 250 bet + 250 his call + 805 his raise shove / 805 our call = 1745 / 805 = 2.168 to 1 = 31.57% equity needed to call profitably.

ugh did a whole bunch of math proving you should snap this, but forgot to add in AQo/AQs to his range, but.. yeah, call. fold is really bad w/o reads.

he 3bs AQ, JJ, TT, KK pre, so we're looking at KQ, KJ, KT, JT, Q9(o/s?), maybe he blows up with AJ, QJ, some kind of confused crap? Mostly this just looks like KT or a slowplayed hand on the flop if he's tight. Is there any kind of game dynamic?

I don't know that I could see enough hands in a fast format to determine that I should fold this shallow?

I see where calling should be right. I had already used up my timebank earlier and I forgot about that. So during my debate it just snap folded me. Space cadet.

As for game dynamic, we had few hands played post-flop. He's made this move once before where he jammed my check-raise and I also folded. At the 25/50 level, I had 20bb and he was jamming repeatedly over my minraises. I had just called and sucked out on him. That's how i'm ahead.

The more I think about this, the more I think i should have called.

I'm calling. We beat a bunch of pair + draw type stuff. I think we have more than 30 % equity so it's a call.

I almost never fold Kings Up with less than 17 bb behind.
Easy call until i get a read telling me otherwise.

The only logical hand that beats us is Q9, so I call this and I'm pretty happy about it.

After you mentioned he was jamming quite often it a fist pump call imo.

This is so wrong, there is many many many hands that can play this line and beats us, but i think the call is still OK not super happy but u see a lots of worse hands allso i would say.

Yeah ok, there are some but not many many many.
I don't belive he plays AQ this way even if he is tigh pf (maybe he does, but unlikely).
KQ would be even more logical than Q9.
I see KJ, KT and thats pretty much all. (also pos he would raise flop)
TT, JJ is 3betting us prob pf.

There a 4 hands (Q9,KQ,KJ,KT) and thats all.

If I missed a hand please tell.

*G*

I would call this. He slowplays JT sometimes here and he has enough draws and pair + draws that you are ahead of here I think. A lot of people will do this with a turned FD or a pair with OESD etc.
