Villain has played like 25 husng games and has -8% roi.
Early in a game he minraised IP my flop donkbet with TPMK, then he shutted down when turn was higher card and river paired third pair.
He made stupid bluffs in small pots, his flop donk bets usually means he is weak and he just shuts on turn.
He min 3bet AK, small cbets when misses and then c/c blank turn - c river again when no hit.

I had 3:1 lead but now we are even. He is laggy preflop so I try to keep him in this pot with 2.5x 3bet. What is the best line when flop comes like this, I mean kind of dry flop with one over and doubtful fd.
B/F, B/C, C/C, C/F? If we C/C and turn comes blank do we C/F?
When i check and he bets 250, his sizing looks strong but I d like to peel one card. I don't think he could barrel bluff in big pot, so I'm looking for that he shuts down on turn?

tl;dr

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 57.5 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (2 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) (t1540)
SB (t1460)

Hero's M: 20.53

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, J
SB bets t100, Hero raises to t250, SB calls t150

Flop: (t500) K, 2, 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets t250, Hero ?

Thanks for your thoughts.

cbet like 1/3 pot and eval after that.
Too many tangents that I could think and go into right now, so i'll just leave it at that.

I think that if villain calls 150 more he calls 200 more
also why aren't we cbetting the flop ?

as played, I agree with calling

Your 3bet size is absolutely standard and ok.

However, I really don't like the flop check as we're basically setting us up to call down without knowing anything about his hand. We define our hand a lot better by betting and then re-evaluating based on his reaction to our bet.

If you check, then he could in theory fire 3 barrels here thinking you're weak or his is good.

However, if you cbet really small here - I'd make it 180 - then he still calls you with an 8, but it's a lot less likely that he'll raise you with something that you beat.

You also shouldn't cbet too big here - like half pot - since you don't want to give him the illusion of being able to 3bet-jam with fold-equity.

If you make it 180 into 500, then jamming would be a huge overbet for him and if raises then you'd get the last bet in.

Bet 200-250 OTF imo, not too big so that you are committed, not so small that you look very weak.

Probably fold to a re raise.
