Was just thinking about a day 1 strat, since it seems like we're really just taking a 1/2 assed wagon in a few directions w/ little to no chance of getting a wolf (since we're implicating mostly active posters and the wolves will have influence to stop a wolf wagon w/o really having to stand out too much)...

Anyways, what if we take someone who is prob the most obv villager, have him pick an inactive player, or someone w/ like 1 post, and wagon the fk out of him. The villagers mostly should jump on, wolves won't beable to wagon against w/o standing out.

Just a thought, i'm new to WW and dunno what a good day 1 strat is other than the whole post seer cover (which noone seems to be doing) and being active as a villager, inactive as a wolf.

Thoughts?

About my first post: It was short indeed. I had to leave and wasn't sure when I'd get back, and if I'd have the time to get back online. So I needed to be short, and voted for the only one were I could see some arguments at that time. Otherwise I might not have been able to vote. When I got back home, I reread everything, undid my first vote, and voted for you.

My analysis for now:
* Coffeeyay: His accusation at my address confirms my suspicion. Not because it's about me, but because his arguments don't seem to make much sense. I think I made my intentions clear in my first post, and yet he uses this against me. And he makes some "analysis" about all my posts, while it's actually only 2 posts. Plus he's not analyzing further himself, but pushing others to do so. A tactic wolfs like to use if I'm not mistaken. They want to kill a villager, but hope others come up with the reason why they should be killed. He's my nr 1 suspect and my vote atm.
* Yaqh and mers: Give me a villagery impression so far. Decent analysis and no-nonsense.
* filthyvermin: have to think this one over
* raised-by-jews: There's probably another explanation for this, but I expected him to be very active here. At least, if he's a villager. As a wolf it's better to stay low profile. Could of course be a schedule thing as well, too early to call this a "suspicion". Maybe this argument counts for others as well, but there are few I know well, so I don't know who's normally active in topics like this one.

just his genereal demeanour over the day has been static, and i dont think he would have jumped in there with this strategy from the get go without having some kind of wolve discussion first if he was one, and there wasnt much chance for that to happen at the beginning of the day when he started posting

This strikes me as very villagery. Basically saying he's a wolf if he doesn't get lynched pretty quick is a pretty suicidal wolf strat. If he wasn't mers, i'd be way more sure of my vill read

the problem is that there were no arguments for lolsteamroller except for my joke "he said wolves in his first post so he must be a wolf" and chadders' joke "for obvious reasons, he gave a good HUD" and all you said was for above quoted reasons, just as the votes on steamroller got be 3 deep.

then when pressure falls off lolsteamroller you come back suddenly, give some random info about filthy and then jump to voting for me, who at this point was under a lot of pressure and had a large number of votes, citing "gut feeling".

all of this is very wolfy imo, seems textbook noob wolf.

in that case im considering putting my vote on you... you seem to be on mers' villager list after that lengthy analysis you wrote, but you wrote that just after i pointed out how you conveniently got on the jackoneill wagon... but tbh I'd rather keep guys like you, mers, filthy and anyone else who contributes around, because you can be useful as **** as villagers.

Basically everyone I think might be a wolf right now is giving out a lot of info and contributing to the discussion, so I'd rather vote someone who hasn't really been that active...

I'm not in love with any of the current wagons. I also think voting for someone who is contributing nothing and throwing away their vote can't be that bad of an idea. It best, it's a wolf who is voting outside of the main wagons who are villagers so that he won't be suspected for voting a villager off. At worst we vote off a bad villager.

i'm one of only 2 people voting for jack -- that's hardly jumping on a wagon, and i gave my reasons.

tbh i agree that we should not be forgetting about the quiet people, but it's hard b/c it's so early that its hard to tell abotu them.

out of the silent people maybe we should consider the people who normally have high posts activity but havent posted yet, especially if they have been online 2p2 since the start of the game

I really like a spamz vote, and think it's better than a random dhcg vote. Spamz is smart, and his action so far gives a wolf lean. would be down for a Kurru/Spamz wagon

^ saying his actions seem wolfy is a bit strong. It's just potentially wolfy. pop in, make a vote, say hi, lay low. Seems like a fairly rational thing to do as a wolf, and he's a fairly rational person.

Would also be a good person to kill because he's either being a good/smart wolf, or a fairly worthless villager atm.

If your telling the whole village your selecting quiet people with high activity on the forum for the daily execution your not gonna catch any wolf right ?
+ killing smart people without a reasonable reason seems EV- since they are the villagers who can be the most valuable.

Ill give Kurru my vote too. Just posting to post seems like a waste. May change my vote but who knows?
