villain is one of the worst players i have ever played. hes a std loose passive fish. no fold button preflop, playing every single hand. minbetting with marginal hands, ace hi.. and 3x 4x overbet with da nuts.

i guess its a FPS bad fold.

Sucks but snap call. We have the nutflush blocker, makes him a little more polarized to boats and bluffs, but still enough worse 3s to make folding worse than calling.

HE NEVER BLUFFS. 0 bluff in his range. I am up against flushes (most likely), boats, or weaker 3x.

If you're confident on your read, all you have to ask is "is he got a worse 3x more than ~40%?"

I'm sure you can find a fold there against certain opponents, obv not a snap fold against most opponents though.

And if he really is the 'worst player ever' than call. Against your standard passive fish it is very close, probably a fold

Lead flop vs a loose passive fish.

Def don't like it. If he has an ace he's likely betting it, you can check raise and with the additional street/increased pot size it's much more likely you will stack him or at least get as many chips as you can out of him. If you lead and he has an ace he might just call (unless he's got AK/AQ then MAYBE he will raise you), making it much harder to get it in by the river this deep.

Also if you check you give him a chance to bluff, you give him a chance to check back and hit something that will call further streets. If you lead you get him to most likely fold all his air on such a great wet board. (not)

Fold PF IMO if he really he is an epic fish then just turning up with stronger ranges pre and post flop will be a better overall strategy and getting more hands in at a lower level whilst giving up the 20 chips you have invested (i know, i know its dead money) seems like a better strategy to me. Like overall this K3o is providing a reasonable amount of chip variance and overall chip ev of what + or - a small amount. I think a much more important point to think about rather than the river is overall pf strategy early vs weak opponents, especially the ones that are too loose pf and dont fold much postflop like the one you described. Think about it, so what you folded what 5- 10 marginal hands and lost 100-200 chips and this "fish with no fold button" gifts you his stack because you have it and he isnt capable of adjusting to the fact that you have effectively nitted it up and waited for hands that flop well. I think this concept applies both in position and oop and whilst you may be giving up a tiny chip ev on certain hands your overall win rate, ROI and hourly should all increase. Which is much more important.

I think its a fold because of the sizing on the river. I'd call a smaller raise obviously, but most people don't tend to raise big on the river without a flush or boat here
