Def don't like it. If he has an ace he's likely betting it, you can check raise and with the additional street/increased pot size it's much more likely you will stack him or at least get as many chips as you can out of him. If you lead and he has an ace he might just call (unless he's got AK/AQ then MAYBE he will raise you), making it much harder to get it in by the river this deep.
Also if you check you give him a chance to bluff, you give him a chance to check back and hit something that will call further streets. If you lead you get him to most likely fold all his air on such a great wet board. (not)
