can somebody point me to any kind of strategy guide for 3 player SnG? stacks will be very shallow (10bb or 15bb starting) so its going to be mainly shoving and calling shoves. Charts for that will be highly appreciated.

definitely a critical point in all spin and gos. seems to me a lot of players are calling tighter though.

Not at all for HU. First, it's an equilibrium for a game that isn't really practiced in reality at most of those stack sizes (IE people limp/MR plenty of stuff on the button for most of the stack sizes covered there).

There are longer posts about this in the forum, take a search around, but there's limited useful info you can gather from the HU Nash Charts.

yeah seems ludicrous to shove some of the hands that the "pusher" hu chart suggests at 20bb or even 10bb.

what about the Nash ICM calculator ?
https://www.holdemresources.net/nashicm
is it useful to build strategies through it for 3 player Spin and Gos? it also seems to lead to quite wide shoving and calling ranges at 10+bb which doesnt seem to be correct in practice.

I've never played Spins myself or done any extensive studying on them. But if it's NASH and based on the same thing (all 3 spots can only shove, call shove or fold) then I would imagine it also has a lot of problems applying to actual games where plenty of players (like all of them basically in HUSNGs) have limping ranges 10-20bbs deep. So I'd guess not.

I think the more advanced stuff is going to be more useful, InstaGTO and Coffeecalcs for HU, InstaGTO for Spins. It'll just have actual relevant situations that you can mock up and give you much more direct solutions/feedback.

what about at shorter stacks? (6-7bb and even less) do you think the hu charts (https://www.holdemresources.net/hune) are useful?
for example in determining the cutoff to push 96o (5.5 bb according to pusher chart) or to call 87suited (6.5bb according to caller chart).
seem ambitious to me too given how bad a shape you ll be in when called for example but should these charts be followed from a nash perspective at shallower stacks where push/fold is the primary strategy.

Once you get into an area where everyone is effectively jamming or folding, no limping, then I think they become quite useful, yea. Whether that area is like 5bbs or 7bbs, depends on your specific games probably. I don't know about Spins specifically for that, but I'd look to answer that question and then the charts are certainly useful to draw some information from.
