PokerStars - $3.32+$0.18|10/20 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 1,350 (VPIP: 56.25, PFR: 42.86, 3Bet Preflop: 40.00, Hands: 18)
Hero (SB): 1,650

Hero posts SB 10, BB posts BB 20

Pre Flop: (pot: 30) Hero has K J

Hero raises to 40, BB raises to 120, Hero calls 80

Flop: (240, 2 players) 3 8 4 BB bets 160, Hero calls 160

Turn%s: (560, 2 players) 2 BB checks, Hero bets 370, BB calls 370

River%s: (1,300, 2 players) 8 BB checks, Hero bets 1,000 and is all-in,

I float the flop cause i feel there are a lot of good turn cards to take this away, when villain flats turn i put him on some high one card flush draws, some mid PP and a couple of 8x (since he 3bet pre i dont expect him to have too many 8x in his range)

Should i give up on the river? Or would this shove get him to fold a better hand enough to warrant it?

Appreciate any thoughts guys

I dont know the dynamics you had going on, but i would fold flop without any backdoors. As played i like your river push.

Flop is closer to a fold. If he was 3betting 40% over a decent sample it can be different but seems like only 18 hands or so

I would raise flop if you put him on air, he is calling river because he is aggro tard
