    Flop
I'm unsure whether to fold or call. I think his raise is strong in this spot (since his preflop passivity is quite indicative of a typical calling station at these stakes) and signifies at least a pair, but the possible flush and straight draws made me lean towards a call and check-fold the turn if my hand doesn't improve, provided he bets a decent amount. Is it a mistake to assume he would be betting straight/flush draws here, due to how passive he was preflop?

    Turn
I think he would bet this turn with any 6's, 5's, and (possibly) straight/flush draws. Therefore, my line of thinking was to check and give him room to possibly keep betting a straight or flush draw, as well as his 6's and 5's, since my hand just improved immensely. Would a check-raise be better here? I called instead to try and induce another bet from his drawing hands when they miss on the river. Would it be better to simply just get it in?

    River
Straight/flush draws didn't complete, 65 got counterfeited, and any 2x made trips but I can't see three barrels with a two, tbh.

    TL;DR
    Call or fold flop?
    Check-raise or check-call on turn?

Why dont you consider cbetting this flop? Sure it doesnt rep your range very well, but nor does it hit his range too hard with all the low cards. You´ve got overs + a Backdoor FD, that should be plenty of equity to make you cbet here.

As played, i actually like the c/c on turn but hate the river check.

When the board pairs with just a 1/2 psb behind a 6 or a 5 pretty much never will bet here especially with the Ax on board and not really sure how often he barrels his missed FD. So imo you have to jam this river 100% as he might look you up really light here putting YOU on a busted draw as your hand really doesnt look like Ax by the river.

Good point. A flop c-bet would be a much better move.

Hmm, I didn't think of how the board pairing would affect villians decision making. You're quite right, that would absolutely make jamming the best move. Thanks for the reply, that cleared up a lot of the ambiguity I was feeling towards that hand.

    cbet and barrel
as played lead turn, your range is overs and A hits that range so dont think its so likely he will bet, but given its random fish, its more like scare card for him and he will check a lot there imo, so just lead for value and obv keep betting otr
