Not really sure how he played earlier in the game, but the point I would take a stab was preflop 
Shove after limp... If not - probably would not take a stab out of position with 56o. Pot raise of 400 - would call that... other way - hard to say, dont know anything about opponent (how often bluffs, steal etc).
