maybe true. but its a good semibluff spot. a minraise looks strong (i rarely have the seven) and he could do that with hearts or a 6 or even a five expecting me to fold.
actually i prefer to raise on the turn cause there are some cards i dont want to see on the river ( 8,3, every heart) and to not raise i have to exactly put him on a boat or a made straight. isnt this a tiny range? isnt he showing up in this spot with 2 hearts or a 6 more often and if so, can i really let him draw out cheap?
my confused spot is the river. cause now he checks to me.
should i bet small/fold considering the stacksizes or is it a definately checkbehind?
i just dont see anything what beats me and would check to me (a straight perhaps or trips as well with a better kicker).
like said, its the first hand, and if he got a straight he should reraised me on the turn, if he made a flush on the river i think he should bet now to get some value, if he got a boat the same.
so really checkbehind?
PS: yes, his stats were fishy. not much volume, negative roi.
