11th hand in the game. Villain seemed lagish, raised 5 out of 6 buttons, called my preflop raises and 3bet me once. This was my first 3bet.
Is a call spewy here?

I think your 3Bet with 77 is a bit spewy this early, I would rather 3Bet a hand like J8s which I'm pretty sure you would fold to a 4Bet.

Jamming pre will show immediate profits, I don't like 3betting to 240/270 here since you will get in ****ty spots postflop, board will suck a high percentage of the time etc, plus you are oop

+1.

I'd only like it if villain never calls a 3bet and either folds or 4 bet jams.

is just calling his raise that bad +/- 40BB deep?

Shoving is certainly +EV against almost everybody, but what happened to good old calling?

Meh, just jam pre for the reasons above. Stack sizes are kinda goofy to just call (plus we lose alot of value) with 77 and 3 betting just makes the hand difficult to play.

OK, thanks for explaining.

So you play 22-66 the same v.s. an frequent 3x opener <40 BB
