ugh villain is very aggro and seems to have it on some times but also seems to be able to go pretty wild out of control

i call the turn because its just so cheap and makes me think he might have a Tx type hand but on the river im just so disgusted, i butchered it eitherway with stacksizes and what not but i felt like i HAD to float this flop and then he makes the turn so cheap damn i got ownd :P

as far as normally not raising this hand OOP when villain limps villain was limping 100% from the btn so i figured with A8 id do decent vs his rangee and get some more money in the pot, dno how u guys feel bout this, i know its pretty thin imo

Maybe results oriented but the turn seems like a good place to fold?
Raising pre with A8 is fine imo not thin at all if he's limping 100%

well imo its not thin in this spot but im saying in general w/o many reads( like in this game i was pretty readless)

i know i could fold on the turn but i hoped to call and reevaluate the river because it was pretty cheap

but on the river i hit timebankand was thinking damn do i really wanna call my stack off here with 3d pair and readless vs a guy i belive i have a significant edge on?

however idk how would you play it?

i know folding turn seems like LDO given he jams the river but assuming u wouldnt know that..

I think I'd honestly just fold the turn, safe on the assumption (given the betting pattern/sizes) that he is a bad player than I exploit in better spots. Turn bet looks as though he's milking you, and even if he's doing that on a weird semi-bluff he has a lot of equity against your hand.

But you should not have posted the river action as I'm probably just results oriented now

calling the turn isn't cheap at all because the river is going to be very difficult to play correctly, his bet contains a pretty big threat of putting you all-in on the river. It's not a retrospect thing at all, you need to make up your mind on the turn if you're going broke on most rivers.

deffo agree on this post and i made my mind up i was going broke

buttt

i was 2 tabling and didnt have any timebank left on that table and timed out :P

so i dont know results either lol, at the time i said it this looks pretty small and if he shoves river **** it im going broke then, i can imagine him having some draws here meh

and then river came and was relative brick and i was really like HMMM what am i gonna do here?
and then timed out and folded lol :P

well i had to post the river because im looking on advice on how to play the river correctly once we get there, not on wherei should folded really if that makes sense

and about the milking part i tend to disagree because, he bets less tehn half pot might as well be a draw tbh
or at least thats what was going through my mind at the time but mightve been wishfull thinkin

I'd be way more likely to call the turn if this type of villain potted it tbh. Also a pretty bad turncard.

I'm not in love with raising A8 OOP vs. this type of guy since we get put in a ton of marginal spots with MP, and don't have great implied odds when the A hits.

Check back pf. Cbet a bit bigger if you do. It's an ugly board to do that cause it hits like eveything from his range.

As played I call flop. Turn is meh imo. I might fold this ingame. Don't know, might be wrong...
I'm def folding river.

I'd not raise pre either most of the time, flop seems fine, turn is a must fold ainec.
