Average is 20 hands per spin.
We have at least 33% drop.
So we play 14 hands instead 20.
Average chipev, for 30s example, 2.25 chipev/hand
And guy who have 45 chipev in x2 now play it 14*2.25 = 31.5
Is not not even close to breakeven.
Huge -EV game.

GG WP.

Gonna look some rakeback offers by old affilate contacts.
I think this is a final point in my spins career.
See you in next disciplines!
In Italy we have these blind levels for half a month. The decrease of the number of hands per spin is about 1.5/2 hands. Meaning that in 2x spin the decrease is about 3.5 hands/spin. Obviously it's different the blind level of some of these hands so the expected cev decrease but I'm not sure if we can't offset it with the +cev in higher multiplier.

Still sucks obv, but it's not getting unbeatable, maybe -0.5% roi at most.
yes and also there will be more games per hour played so this might cover it anyways or?

That's not really how any of this works.

Changes are bad, the rake increase is clearly a big problem for all players in this game, but your #s above are likely off by a lot.

He is right this time tho Games are completely dead. Last few days 100s are insane regfest for most of the time, adding recent changes and rake increase @ lower stakes things are looking terrible.

Have to agree with jeffreyPL1.
Called it that next rake raise would kill Spins.

I had to quit em few days ago.

my last post was pretty impulsive and emotional.
now have calmed down and can talk about the facts.
what I can say after changes:

1) Games/hour didn't changed. I don't know why.
At 10 tables I have avg 75-85 games per hour.
After changes the same.

2) After removing 30-40-60$, seems 50$ become a more soft stake,
than 60$ before.
There was distribution 30$(soft/semi-soft)-40$(soft)-60$(hard/veryhard)
Today 50$ I would rate as soft/semisoft.
But these 1M$ promo probably not so good.

3) 100$ Stake still reg infested. Most of regs annoying about it.
But also seems last days is more profitable than last 3 weeks.
Maybe this is New Year fishies come or UFC ads do their job.

-----

Didin't tried PartyPoker and don't plan to do it.
My next steps is finish my career in Spins after dec-jan'2019.
And start new page in MTT.
I gathered some MTT Courses and began to study it a little.

Maybe I'll start coaching Spin and Go, that knowledge is not lost simply.
I have a great understanding against regs and maybe I can teach it to others.

For now.
I play 50$ and stop study so hard.
Enabled nicknames and HUD.
Stopped play one way strat against everyone and try to adjust vs Fish.
My redline again go straight up.
Full GTO it gives straight go to hell, digging non stop.
Maybe, maaaaaybe I again try full redline style, 0 blueline.
But not sure.
I've got limited time, so I just play and have fun.

What did you expect? Typical of Russian players (also, Eastern European countries). The cancer of online poker. Then, when online poker dies they will be the first to cry.

That's a pretty shitty stereotype though. Like online piracy is limited to Russia/eastern Europe....

I think you are wrong. They Will still play the games when they have 0.x roi and make a comfortable living out of it.

Tough month finished.

What I learned from this one.
Full GTO is not optimal.
Yeah yeah, don't tell me "I TOLD YOU", i love proofs and after making reports in PT4
from month to month "vs Fish" I saw a lot of interesting things how bad GTO against them.
But!
GTO is fkn perfect against regs.

Mostly I rolled back my balanced play vs fish to linear agression from pre to river.
High pressure pre+flop and less turn more less river.
Let's see what it gives me.

What about line-ups.
100s is pretty hard.
I turned off this stake since ~5 December.
I started first week -15k actual and -6k EV.
And most sick thing, that i played so GTOish perfect.
This is was turning point that I'm on a wrong way.

50$ almost like 30$. Very good stake.
Balanced fish/reg ratio.
Quality of regs is mostly weak.
I was very comfortable playing here.

Next month I will continue grind 50$ with observing 100$.
I think that at some point I will definitely add them again.

Graph since 21 November.
Actual profit is 500$ more than in PT4 (checked audit)
But pretty funny how actual and EV$ is coincided in PT4 anyway ;D

Well.

I want to finish this story and take a break from blogging.
I hope I gave you some useful information and fun in this topic.
I've run out of energy and I need a mental reset.

As I said, the next 2-3 months are the last in my career Spin and Go.
Then I will continue my way in MTT.

Top 3 of my advice to all those who plan to stay in this discipline.

1) EV Insurance makes your life easier.
You will save your nerves, time and money.
Look for the most profitable deals for yourself and do not worry about the variance.

2) GTO/Solvers not a magic pill.
This is a best tool to be a ok vs regs, but don't spend too much time on it, spend more time on the analysis of the game against weak players/fishies.

3) Try to abstract of short term results, more focus on long distance.
Try to not check your tracker or Cashier as long as possible.
I give you a guarantee that it will greatly improve the results and your psyche.
Yes, there will be a fear of the unknown and curiosity, but try to overcome this and focus on performance and best EV actions, not on the final result.

-

And as promised, the graph from my database PT4.
Not lifetime. From about October 2017.
This is quite a lot and guess 2/3 of my distance.

That's all for now.
This is my last post in this topic.

With love,

FREEQONE.
