Villain is quite passive and tight. In the previous match (not consecutive, about an hour ago) I raised virtually every button and c-bet quite often, and he didn't show much resistance until the end. It could be that he was really card dead, but I doubt he is an aggressive type of player.

In this match, he 3-bet about 3-4 times (about 20% of the time). I called only once where he c/f'ed on T86ss flop. It seemed he realised at some point that I am playing quite aggro and started calling/floating oop, but he wasn't playing well oop anyway (btw his oop range is crazy wide) and it went c/c on the turn and river.

So in this hand, I would usually get it in against normal opponents, but his 3-bet (which he has never, ever done before) really makes me think that I have to discount some of my outs (most likely pair outs if he has two pair or a set). Good thing is that he can't have Jx and two hearts at the same time, but that's pretty much it. Is this a shove nonetheless, or can I let this one go?

flatting is probably better, but I dont see any problem getting it in here. you have a good hand.

At this point you have too much equity and pot invested to fold. You have to flat or 3bet and get it in.

as played, you will never have much less than 50% against a reasonable range. since you need 42% to get it in, this is an easy decision.

So if we flat here and turn is a non-heart, what are we doing? As long as the board doesn't pair, we will still have some outs and have to call a moderately-sized bet. And then river play would be obvious depending on whether we hit or not, maybe..? Is this line okay with these reads against this player?

how often had villain donked like that instead of checking to you when you raised pre? if you've been raising pre/cbetting plenty you should have seen him donk 1/2 pot by now and maybe have a little clue as to what he does it with.

if this is his first donk and he'd been passive like you said, i'd just flat his lead and hit/re-evaluate turn.
