Villain unknown. Doesn't defend a lot, folded his first button, was raising 3x and opened like 70%. I folded like 2 out of 9 btns up to the A5 hand, and folded it only once more for the rest of the match.

Post flop was kind of passive on both sides, except for these two hands:

Hand #1

Turn: (t240) A (2 players)

Hand #2
Full Tilt Poker $20 + $1 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10/t20 Blinds - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter By DeucesCracked Poker Videos

Hero (BB): t1770 88.50 BBs
BTN/SB: t1230 61.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is BB with 8 6
BTN/SB raises to t60, Hero calls t40

Flop: (t120) 2 T 9 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t80, Hero calls t80

Turn: (t280) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t80, Hero calls t80

River: (t440) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets t80, Hero calls t80

Final Pot: t600
Hero mucks 8 6
BTN/SB shows T A (a pair of Tens)
BTN/SB wins t600

The call here is very questionable but sometimes when I have three buttons to chose from I get confused.

So right now, those are the only two pots who went to the river, and only postflop pots that were cbet. the only other flop we saw was J72dd and was checked down to J7267dddd he opened with 33, I defended ATo, neither had a diamond.

Then we just exchange btns for 10ish hands, where I 3bet him once, and he quickly folded, and the following hand occurs:

Full Tilt Poker $20 + $1 Heads Up No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10/t20 Blinds - 2 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter By DeucesCracked Poker Videos

Hero (BTN/SB): t1550 77.50 BBs
BB: t1450 72.50 BBs

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is BTN/SB with 5 A
Hero raises to t60, BB calls t40

Flop: (t120) 6 8 K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (t120) 4 (2 players)
BB bets t60, Hero raises to t180, BB calls t120

River: (t480) A (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets ?

Now, I expect him to be betting the turn with quite a wide range. Pair + draws being the majority of them. I don't think he's gonna 3bet the turn, so I raise him to rep strength (slowplayed hands, weak flop hands that I wouldn't cbet). Could I possibly overbet the river?

Next hand he opens I fold. Then this hand:

River: (t520) 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t280, BB folds

Final Pot: t520

Standard right? Or do you think I shouldn't go for 3 streets of value here?

IMO:
Hand 1 Im not sure about 3rd barrel, as he may call an 8 now that the board paired. Also flush draws got there.
Hand 2 fold pre, or fold flop
Hand 3 just cbet
Hand 4 if he's really passive(ie will call 7x) you can bet the river, but maybe a bit smaller so he's more likely to call

lol this might sound harsh...
hand 1
-pre don't like 3x
-don't like cbet on flop
-don't like turn/river plays

hand 2
-not calling 3x w/ 8 6 o pre

gl buddy

3sts of value in the last hand looks good, I hate your river sizing though. If we're trying to target worse pairs I think like 130-190 is a lot better; I doubt this guy turns SD value into a bluff, and a lot of draws have pairs now.

Hand3: why would you overbet the river against this player? I overbet a ton of rivers, but I do it mostly to get folds on certain boards or to get regs to station out with a capped range. Against this guy...he has a lot of pairs here, including Kx, that might fold to a huge bet, but will call a small bet. You have the best hand a ton, get value.
Also kind of dislike the turn raise vs a passive player, cause only 3 overs can come to the K, and if they don't get there it will be very very difficult to make him fold. I like your line a lot more on an 8 or 9 high board fwiw.
