I'm trying to figure out spins because apparently PLO didn't have enough variance for me. My main problem right now is that in the small blind three handed I'm lost for some reason. Probably because in soft PLO games you can fold every remotely marginal sb so life is easier. If it folds or limps to me early in a spin I kinda want to forget the whole thing and go back to chess.

I'm not getting crushed or anything through a few hundred games. I win every flip and suck out with alarming regularity, so maybe I should just never fold and hope I'm the guy that runs hot forever.

Some basic, probably standard boring hands I flagged for some reason that made sense at the time:

Why are you minraising preflop from the SB?? This makes no sense to me. The BB is getting 3:1 on a call and has position. I would either flat preflop or raise 4x from the SB and lead the flop for $100.

You win the BB some of the time preflop with a raise, and some of the time post flop. Of course if they call the flop, we are check/folding the turn, but most of the time it wont get to that point.

I totally agree with this post. You are giving the button good odds with marginal hands to call and see a flop. Also, some of the hands you are playing out of the small blind can be folded pre to save some money. What happens when you min raise and get re-raised by BB with J7? You have to these hands pre. Other than that with your hands like 33. I think you should raise bigger and see how the flop comes. Or, you can also elect to other options like raise pre. Jam flop given that the board is something weird. Aggression is key.

have a shoving range for starters. The 33 would be a good start, it's hard to beat shoving unless you've got reads on BB

Shoving with 25BB to win 20 is a little too aggressive IMO. If Button called or raised preflop, then shoving with 33 is the correct play.
