Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $20(BB) Full Tilt
($1,235)
Hero ($1,765)

Dealt to Hero 9 J

Hero raises to $40, raises to $120, Hero calls $80

FLOP ($240) 4 K J

[color=red]bets $240?

Villian is pretty fishy, cbetting a lot of flops (86 percent), basically regardless of texture.

So,
1. What's his pre flop range (playing 63/27 ftr)
2. How's the pre flop call (3bet's 10%)?
3. How do you play this flop?

Preflop call is fine unless that 10% is in a decently large sample.

If he pots all flops I call flop and fold to a lot of turnbets, unless you know he doublebarrels.

Basically preflop stats are pretty useless as reads here, you need to tell us what you know about his postflop ranges.

Well, he cbets basically all flops as mentioned in OP, with sizing ranging from minbets to pot sized bets, and I didn't have many showdowns, however he folded to a few raises and call/fire turn bluffs.

Like, it's pretty relevant which sizings he was folding to raises.

Can't remember, wasn't really feeling focused at the end of my session. Basically, what's the plays here, readless?

readless i'd call and reevaluate the turn since we are IP

so what do these pfr stats mean? how often is he raising the button? yes you are ever good. but how often and how much it is going to cost to find out is very important.

is he 3barrel bluffing sometimes? the flop is pretty much a must call against that cbet %, what is his turn barrel. it probably drops quite a bit.

its really too bad you can't get us any info from the betsizes. standard = big bet is big hand. so you should fold, it's also sometimes a draw and its a very wet board.

if you had the read a big bet is a draw and he likes to semibluff i think the turn is a jam and if you had the read big bet is big hand i would like a fold.

try to remember does he shutdown on a lot of rivers? if he does---> call. if he is always 3 barreling ----> call, does he valuebet light----> fold

pick a tendency you do have some information on and use it on this hand. if it's close go by what info you have and adjust as you get more.
