BB: 568.00
Hero (SB): 432.00

Hero posts SB 10.00, BB posts BB 20.00

Pre Flop: (30.00) Hero has 4 K

Hero raises to 40.00, BB calls 20.00

Flop: (80.00, 2 players) 9 6 3
BB checks, Hero bets 40.00, BB calls 40.00

Turn: (160.00, 2 players) K
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (160.00, 2 players) 2
BB bets 488.00 and is all-in, Hero ?

This is how I played hand, decided to check turn to get more value otr or induce bluff. And he just shoves. Call, fold?

Lets assume hand has been played differently.

I would definitely cbet turn! We still get value from all pairs a straight draws.

As you played it:
1) fold river
2) call shove, there are still a lot of draws you are ahead of and random 9x that just thinks its good

i don't quite get turncheck, there is tons of oesd/gs/pair hands to get value from. on the river i guess alot of two pairs and the 45 straight are in his valuerange, you need to be right 3 out of 7 times which i don't think you are.

in the second scenario i would shrug-call, expecting to see some 9x and air that you beat, but also better hands.

noway Id ever fold a king vs unknown after we checked back the turn
but yea, still more profitable probably to bet turn and keep extractiing value from real hands than concentrating on bluffcatching

Always bet the turn to avoid difficult situations like this , (but you already know that)

Cheking the turn looks really weak and it is possible that the vilain reacts on your ''weakness'' by shoving his 9x. As played I think you should fold readless. and keep in mind that checking the turn is triggering vilain and take advantage 2 this later in the match.

Well first hand is totally read dependent if you somehow get the feeling that the villian is kinda crazy than it's a snap call otherwise it's really close especially at the 15dollar level since alot of villians would play their 45 and wierd rivered two pair exactly like that.

In the second senario Id probably call but again really close and some reads woulden't hurt.

Call in both hands, although I'd always bet this turn for value.
