Turn is either a call or raise with +ev going to raising. Turn is most definitely a raise not call. Never want to be calling 2 streets with draws.. Not when you can take it down otf with tremendous equity on following streets.

Flop:
To me, this flop looks like a very good spot to check-raise. We have some equity with gutshot, backdoor FD, two overs to 2nd and 3rd pair. The flop texture is also favorable for a c/r. People are not gonna float check-raises with JT here when there's a high card on the board.

Villain does have low PFR, which probably includes a decent portion of Ax, so I would proceed with caution when called. But, his c-bet sizing looks weakish for an Ax hand. I would go for the c/r to blow him out of his equity with middling hands like K9-KQ, QJ, JT, etc.

Q-high gives us marginal showdown value, so calling might be OK too.

Turn:
Turn looks like a fold to me. This guy seems a nitty based on his stats and I don't see how can you profitably call here. Backdoor FD missed, hitting your GS does not have great implied odds and the turn c-bet is looking more like Ax.

River:
River is a pretty good bluffing card for him, but I don't see myself calling here against what seems like a nitty guy based on his stats. I'm guessing he had A4.

I like the flop call - c-bet size was small, you have gutshot and backdoor flush draw. People hate folding top pair, so if you are up against A-x - you have nice implied odds (even though we should not overvalue the situation - you are out of position and 4 on the turn will put four-straight on board).
I would fold the turn - for these reasons: based on the stats villain is a nit and he keeps betting (that's a bad sign), no more flush draw for me - just one crappy gutshot and I am out of position. I can see no good reason to call the turn.
As played - hitting third pair on the river is not a good enough reason for me to call a big bet. I would fold the river.

call flop, fold turn. flop is somewhat close to raise, though call is better vs 99% of players, not at all close to fold. turn is a very clear fold unless you have some incredibly particular reads. As played fold river.

Also at @ioCross, yes you do want to be calling 2 streets with draws. Just not this draw.

Coffeejay: you don't think it's profitable to at least b/f on turn in this case?

I like calling on the flop. Turn is a fold though especially since he is raising preflop so tight. Even versus a normal opponent I'd fold there.

If he is the timid type, I'd donk shove the river all-in. At this point he is likely to have a strong ace. If you think he is capable of folding that then shove all day. If not, check/fold river.
