Villain is a tight opener and I haven't seen villain do anything crazy postflop yet. So on the turn I think we have zero SDV and our OESD is likely to not have 8 outs (if any). But villain doesn't seem super strong when he flats flops - so he probably doesn't have the flush. but pairs/2pairs/some straights are probably in his range. So I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that this is a good spot to try to barrel him off these hands?

Also - how would other people play the flop?

If you're going to check-raise that flop you can't really check that turn so yeah, I'd barrel the turn but check-fold the river. And against a tight opener otf I would be more inclined to either peel a card or check-fold (depending on how tight said villian is) as that board hits villian's range pretty hard. Depends on his c-bet frequency as well but I guess you don't have much of a sample on that given you say he's a tight opener and you're 10 hands in.

x/c flop all day every day. and why do you assume villain is weak when he flats flop?

Check raising bottom pair on that particular texture seems bad idea to me. While there are some spots to x/r/fold bottom pair, I don't think that's the case, mainly because I doubt you will get barreled much on that board, when you flat you look a lot like Kx/Jx, and there are not many cards villain will barrel. And vs described villain even more so.

yup fairly static board, not something that gets barreled, and on the few cards that might get barreled a bit more we also pick up extra equity

imo this is not a great spot to c/r with our hand in general. The fact that villain is a tight opener makes our c/r 100000x worse. it's not a board that you can c/r and barrel off, like what turn can you barrel off aside from a none spade 2 and Q (even hitting a Q we're not that happy with)
