PokerStars - $14.39+$0.61|20/40 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): 32.13 BB
BB: 42.88 BB (VPIP: 75.00, PFR: 35.71, 3Bet Preflop: 41.67, Hands: 28)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has Q 4

Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) 4 9 J
BB checks, Hero bets 2 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Turn: (8 BB, 2 players) T
BB checks, Hero bets 5.1 BB, BB calls 5.1 BB

River: (18.2 BB, 2 players) 2
BB checks, Hero bets 11.63 BB

Villain is an aggressive 3bettor, but seems to be rather tight-passive post (x/r 0/5, fold to flop cbet 3/5, fold to turn cbet 1/2).

Do you barrel this river? If yes, what sizing would you use? A-K high and missed draws will fold to a (very) small bet, but 9x (and obv Tx) won't. However, Tx and 9x might not fold to a large bet either, so we might as well bet small then, only to fold out air, right?

I would check the T here cause it hits his flop calling range hard and I don't see him folding much. I think we are most likely behind here but by checking we can realize the equity that we have from hitting a 4 or Q.

Your sample size is kind of small, but if he is indeed tight'ish, as played the R barrel is alright I guess, but it's very likely he has a mid/top pair here so if I were to bluff I would make the river bluff bigger.

Also, you're already paired up so there's no need to bluff A-K high or missed draws.

Lol, totally missed that I hit BP otf, sorry. Checking turn is standard indeed. I guess checking back the flop vs this player is better as well.
