$15 Spin vs agro whale HU ISO pot vs PSB

Hi

Not too much info on opponent other than he was clearly a weak HU player.
3way did multiple nonsense moves and took way out of line lines.

Seen him PSB once before that hand in HU but no confirm as of what that might be either bluff or pure value.

This was also a 6x game so i was much more inclined to make a rather tight fold and accept the fact that vs such particular player with exact same cards and situation i will fold some 90% OTF since clearly my edge was superior over this player and i had enough stack to play some more poker and try to take down this 6x game.

So heres the hand

PokerStars - 10/20 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 2 players

SB: 54 BB (VPIP: 100.00, PFR: 50.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
Hero (BB): 21 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T T

SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) K 9 4
Hero checks, SB bets 6 BB, fold

SB wins 6 BB

In my ISO range i will have AA,AK,KK,KQ,KJ, KTs, 99 what i will CB.
TO chk call vs such PSB perhaps all the hands that i ISO and are both spades so i will have FD, Quite a few combos there.
I see that there is not much difference between calling here TT and JJ or QQ but with the higher PPs with a spade i am much more inclined to call since higher spade might be actually good but would not count that much on that tho. I really dont mind vs this particular player with these stacks and this situations to fold all 9x, 88,TT,JJ and prolly even QQ since i have no idead what this PSB is about.
Allthought he can have tons of randomness here he might very well have Kx or 2pair K9 ,K4 even 94s for this player.
I cannot really call flop and fold turn so i need to GII but makes no sense to me.

How would you play this spot, think of ranges and how to approach and understand more so that i know i will make less likely a mistake in the future.

Kind regards

you cant get away with this hand vs someone agroo, he doesn't even have to bluff, he could be easely going nuts with weaker made hand when you check flop.
Also folding because you think you have edge and will outplay him later doesnt make sense vs player you described, that would make sense vs someone very tight.

I do absolutely agree with you tho that he might very well have there some weaker hand hes willing to go nuts when checked to or bluff OR he might aswell have a pure value hand.

Indeed vs tight player makes much more sense that outplaying can occur but i dont think that it is totally nonsense that vs this player i dont have a time to use my edge and pick slightly better spots where i will put all my moneyz in.

Let me ask you, would you in JP game make this call?

Vs agroo players you cant wait for very strong hands, they will just blind you down, also its not even marginal ev spot vs this player imo, his range is so wide, esp after checking flop + you have seen him doing pot bets before. You even have backdoor spades, not like im super happy in this spot, but im def not sad about making this call, this guy could easily pot hand like 74 thinking you check and he has best hand.
And this is 6x not JP, its not rare to get into 6x. Would I call this in JP game, idk I rather bet small flop than check in JP game.
I dont play spins atm, but I have played up to 60s, I think year ago for a few months.

"3way did multiple nonsense moves and took way out of line lines."

This is your leak.

Re: $15 Spin vs agro whale HU ISO pot vs PSB

Yes. You've said nonsense moves, not even an inclination toward aggression or inducement. Let's for instance say he did actually make two different lines with very similar holdings; he may not be as bad as you think, he maybe aware of his own image. That said, from the talent pool, this is very unlikely. So the fact that most weaker players still tend to favour either too much aggression or too much pasivity means that your leak is lack of information gathering.

I would like to add that I'm highlighting a general weakness of yours. In this specific instance, your opponent would have to show a real tendency for passive/inducement play. You simply crush his range and people feel the need to stab at big pots like these, so I'd be really happy with getting it in here unless I've rock solid evidence to the contrary.
