c/call the flop is definitely an option, but saying "i dont see any point in c/r JJ as a bluff" doesnt give me or u anything, its just an blank statement. say why do u think its pointless
imo if i call ott im putting myself in hard spot otr and villain can use a sizing that will left us no folding equity if we decide to turn hand into a bluff otr and im not super happy calling down with jj in this spot, since we only beat missed draws and there's few less combo because we block some with jacks
really im not convinced that the way ive played this hand is way worse than c/calling the flop (if we assume that he doesnt have many Axes obv), because its going to be really hard to call with q, at least id have to really think it through
Betting flop is def not bad, but I prefer checking, imo hand plays better this way, but ev its probably around same for betting and checking.
And check raise is bad because your hand is bluffcatcher, you will fold out all worse hands and get called by better hands, also when you get called you will have just 2 outs to improve, so something like KT, KJ definitely will be better for xraising.
And SB can easily have way more Ax than you think, at least much more Ax than you, for example SB minraises A6+, 4bets AQ+, flats rest.
