Villain is a reg. No further reads. I guess continuing on the river would be a mistake? There aren't many 3x and 2x in his range this shallow, making it more likely he has 7x, plus he knows we can't have Ax.

I dont like the sizing, good spot to overbet probe and give up river, after betting so small ott betting river small prob is ok, checking also seems fine, you will beat some draws he checks back

Thanks none. My reason for betting the turn small was that villain's turn calling range seems pretty inelastic to sizing here, due to the lack of Ax and Kx in his range at this depth. Pairs will often call a 75% pot bet as well, so by betting small I only target air and some gutshots, knowing there will be many river overcards to continue (large) to fold out low pairs and missed draws.

What makes overbetting turn better than betting turn small - river large? You think too many gutshots call a small turn bet and too many weak pairs will be enticed to hero-call rivers after calling a small turn bet?

yeah, you fold out all draws, and you never know what they limp, he could be limping something like AKs, AQs or small Axs +, gto would overbet this hand and never use small sizing when turn is a blank so Id go with gto here

Alright, nice insight. So that also goes for 25BB?

its in general, when turn is a blank gto prefers bigger sizes, same goes for barrelling IP
