im guessing its vs a fish? I wouldnt trust a fish to fold kx, they might/might not. + they legit have 6's too and flushes sometimes. the ace is a kinda good card for you to be able to get to showdown, even fishes expect you to have an A when you 3bet which means its unlikely they will bet kx or even really bluff tbh so when you chk river and they bet they will just have 6x and and some backdoor flushes and few bluffs. your 99 also blocks some gutshot combos that they can bluff .

id probably fold turn if the bet was bigger but being a small bet im calling(even though its congruent with them having kx fish do weird stuff all the time and show up with air and 5x sometimes too)
