very read-dependent this situation imo.

Any info on how he plays draws? Does he bluff when missed? Can he herocall/stationary? Opening%? Floats with overs? Does he cbet BP/MP? etc.

Betting here can prevent him from bluffing, because if we don't bet i think the plan is to check/fold. With betting we can fold out an AcX kind of hand, maybe a 4x/5x that beats us. If he is passive he will checkback his missed draw and our Q high looks good. So vs a passive station (=fish?) i like a check/fold.

Like to hear other opinions though.

I think the river is a check/fold, I feel like if he if fishy he probably won't fold a pair now that the flush draw missed.

The only better hands you would fold out are like bottom pair and A high.

He could also have called king high on the turn or have some ******ed slow play

Any reads on cbet tendencies? When he calls the turn i see him having lots of XcXx or some straightdrawcombos, so that would make this a nice river to bet. Id pbb bet biggish to let him fold out some low pairs he might c behind otf

bet turn bigger and then follow up on the river.
villain will check back weak showdown value alot on the flop and those kind of hands usually cannot stand alot of heat on such a board. but he can pick up a draw on the turn, so it's necessary to bet river too, because everything whiffed he will likely give up with his weak pairs and his high card hands. that called turn because they picked up a draw.

also folding out a hand like, say, JcXx is not 0EV because we are not guaranteed a showdown.
