shoving pre or making it like 180 since this guy could be really weak and call the 180 with a really wide range but fold to a shove. he also could bad enough to call a shove with Q9o type hands which won't shove to our smaller raise. readless i think i'd shove. with certain reads id make the smaller 3bet. he's getting an ace in either way. the 3x tends to be stronger, but readless less strong (it could just be his normal btn raise). if he has a monster, take a note on his 3x sizing and hope for rematches to exploit it. i think two similar options are available on flop, one shove two raise to 130ish. readless i think i'm using second option. positives are you enable weaker draws 78 68 67 T7 maybe T8 if the guy is super nitty to continue along with an unconvinced Ax that would hopefully fold to a flop shove. granted those hands are sometimes shoving over your c/r anyway. small raise also allows the random ****faced euro to mash all in with T3o. the difference overall is small when readless. again, whichever you choose take a note on how he reacts inc the timing he uses i.e. if he snap folds to the c/r then he had probably had complete air and you can start to develop reads i.e. 1) 3x might include garbage 2) he flop cbets a high % 3) he flop cbets a high % and might play fit fold to c/r yum yum yum
so flat is not an option?
what would change if this was std mr pre and cbet?
What I was thinking:
avg. villain doesn't barell undercards with air (so he wont fold me out with his air), but DOES barell overcards that I hold
if I X/r I fold out his air which he should barell on overcards and on the flop versus his stackoff range I have like 40% (which is ok, but i wanted him to barell overcards and get extra value)
Hate pf call, QKo is good enought to shove it preflop or 3bet ~half stack against weak players that may call and fold against a push ln the flop.
As played, i also hate flatting with 10 outs and 100 chips already in the pot. Again, i like reraising all in or not all in depending on the opponent. Readless I prefer to shove.
