15$ - C/r or not? 15$ - C/r or not?

Didn't seem very good. Was not the type that slowplayed and generally played his draws fast.

I'm confused whether or not I should c/r boards like this with a hand like this in general. I don't think the turn is a good card to barrel. But my bet on the turn was so he wouldn't bet the turn bigger, probably should have made it a bit smaller though. But dunno what to do on river? Can't really see I can do anything but check down.

I think you played OK, but I would bet turn bigger and shove river.

If you do bluff this river, I would think that this hand in your range would be good to do it with considering you block some pair + draw hands that would be more inclined to flat flop and turn rather than raise gii (in particular QTss, JTss or even T7ss) which may station this river since all draws missed. So I think we would have more fold equity (you can give up on some other bluffs).

Checkraising flop is obviously a fine way to play the hand, but whether it is best depends a lot on reads.

Blocker effects matter since imo villain should be more inclined to call on river with a hand like JT or TT, T9, Q9 rather than a hand like AJ or A9.

As standard I would check call flop fwiw.

I understand that we should bet the turn a bit bigger if we plan to jam the river. But isn't this a bad turn/river to bluff? I can see logic in that we block out some hands we would just call all 3 streets with, but what about something like Jx that isn't really strong enough to raise on the flop with? He's gonna call or raise the turn when it's a blank.

Also what reads are we looking for when we want to c/r instead of just flat?

I don't understand this comment. Could you elaborate on why he should call with the hands you mentioned and not with AJ?

Since he blocks more of our value range? I mean it depends on how both players place hands in their ranges, but it's good to have a bluff-catching range that blocks the top value hands.
