Villain is a bad reg. I've played just 1 time before. I'm playing this HU pretty passive, he is adapting not very well.
I just have note he can go broke with 96o on flop 889r with 60bb and tend to check all streets with Ahigh and Khigh on low card boards
What is the optimal play on this turn?

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $30(BB) Replayer
($1,340)
Hero ($1,660)

Dealt to Hero T J

Hero calls $15, checks

FLOP ($60) 4 7 8

checks, Hero bets $45, calls $45

TURN ($150) 4 7 8 5

bets $120, Hero?

Raise pre-flop and call as played (since you'll probably stack him when he has 6x).

Sometimes i raise, other times i just limp with these kind of hands. I think it's ok..Yes, i called because his bet on that turn means he has a strong hand, i think 2 pair or a straight, and yes, if he has straight and i catch my club river or 9 i can easily stack him

Yes, raising pre is ok for sure, but vs players who can't find the fold botton pf, and especially the ones who can't find it vs a cbet too, limping and playing lots of small pots is more profitable than raising and playing lots of big pots without an hand

Don't limp with JTs, it flops way too good.

what??? if he cant fold pre than JTs is an even easier raise for value, dont you want to build the pot with the best hand that also plays incredibly well postflop?? And its a very good hand to play postflop against calling stations too since it has decent high card value (which is important since you are gonna go to showdown often), as well as being the best drawing hand in poker. So if you want most value, then no, limping isnt better, trust me.

You might consider limping low suited connectors or hands like that against players who never fold, but JTs is just waaaaaay to good to limp.

maybe cog dissonance influenced too much my way of playing

i seriously doubt that cog would ever limp a hand like JTs this deep. maybe you were watching some hyper's videos and he was like 12bb deep against a guy who reshoves wide or something, but otherwise i seriously doubt it.
