Hi,

villain was 55/29 and 3bet 2/11 times in this match. I dont really know if a shove is the best option and want to hear other opinions about how to play this hand.

Full Tilt Poker No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t20.00/t40.00 Blinds - 2 players

Hero (BTN/SB): t1855.00 46.38 BBs
BB: t1145.00 28.62 BBs

Pre Flop: (t60) Hero is BTN/SB with Q K
Hero raises to t80, BB raises to t240, Hero raises to t1855, BB calls t905 all in

Flop: (t2290) 8 6 9 (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: (t2290) 4 (2 players - 1 is all in)

I'd lean towards flatting his 3bet. 2/11 isn't a very high percentage to 3bet so he llikely had hands better than KQ.

if you flat you have position and can take pots away from him when you both miss the flop and/or turn

meh, it is really the cutoff where flatting becomes bad imo.
again a hand where every option you have seems bad although you didn't misplay to get in this spot.

shoving should be plus EV if he folds at least 1/3-1/4 of the time which seems reasonable.
flatting should be ok as well if you get it in on relatively light, i.e. gutshot and 2 overs+.
folding seems a bit weak, considering that he 3bet you 3 out of 12 possibilities now.
