Hero (BTN/SB): t1950 65 BBs
BB: t1050 35 BBs

Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is BTN/SB with 8 Q
Hero raises to t60, BB calls t30

Flop: (t120) 3 8 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t60, BB raises to t150, Hero calls t90

Turn: (t420) 5 (2 players)
BB bets t210, Hero calls t210

River: (t840) K (2 players)
BB bets t630 all in, Hero folds

It's still relatively early, so no significant post-flop reads. This is the third time I've raised and the first time villain has called. He was raising a significant amount of his BTNs over this small sample.

Prob jam turn over his raise since he is would get better than 2:1 you can definitely be called by worse than TPGK, river looks like bleh fold as played (hope I'm not being results oriented :S).

If he had raised more on the flop, I would have jammed over with the idea that he has a fair number of draws in his range, but I don't think that raise size is consistent with a draw at all (unless it's decent pair+draw)

Wait, what?

He checkraises a drawy flop and with no "significant post-flop reads" you take all draws out of his range. Also he really can't have a decent pair+draw here because of the board, I mean I guess a 7 w/diamond draw is possible but you are ahead of all of those.

If anything the small c/r followed by half pot on the turn makes me think he doesn't have a hand like A8/2 pr/set since he's not betting more to protect his hand.

+1 to jamming the turn, get called by a lot of draws worse 8's and 7's.
