My opponent has been very nitty the whole match. We havent seen a whole lot of flops, but when we did it usually got checked down. No crazy hands or anything. He's 2% ROI over 6k+ games (5% at 5s for 3.6k games less than 2% over 2k games at 10s)

Effective stacks 1480 20/40 blinds

I minraise QdQh he calls.

flop JhTh6d he c/c 120

Turn Ks he donks 200 I call.

River complete brick now he bets 120.

How should I interpret this bet?

Could be a blockbet with Jx he decided to donk the turn with or a suck-in bet.. I'd call because we dont have to win this very often.

Yeah... no real decision here, folding and raising are both pretty much out of the question. Doesn't really matter how we interpret it; he's giving us a great price so we'll get some valuable info and we're definitely good here often enough to make the call correct

Am I the only person that considered folding turn if our opponent is as nitty as OP says? From that kind of opponent a c/c -> donk 1/2pot is a lot stronger than second pair.

my question was if it's a blocking bet or a bet to induce, sorry if I wasn't clear.

Doesn't really matter whether it be a blocking bet or inducing, you don't have much choice than calling here as rumnchess said. No point in raising since worse hand is not likely to call, and better hand might not be folding. Folding is out of question, you have to call only 120 to win 920, that's great odds.

By the way, please use the hand converter OP. I'm okay with reading the hands, but having to calculate pot size every time is.. demanding.

Ill put the pot size next time, sorry. Can't use the converter unfortunately. Yeah I know I can't do much but call, I just want to know what people think this bet represents.

given stakes and his stats i'd expect this bet to be a lot of thin value (which for these players pretty much = smaller bets), i dont think they r thinking on how u would react to that bet (which is the case of a blocking and inducing bet)

i expect a lot of Kx tbh

call, I def wouldn't raise this unless I knew villain's range is capped in these spots

I'd probably call the turn but considering folding the turn has some merit, certainly more merit than folding or raising the river

turn is super close, getting exactly 3-1 and we're behind sooooo often but we have decent equity against two pair hands i guess ugh
i think river is a fold though if this is the first time he's taken a line like this (or sizing like this)
