I get it in, we have the 2nd best kicker and the best pair and there are quite some draws that could play like this.

If he's quite solid/tight player and you rarely bet paired flop, his reraise is probably fake bluff (I mean, he has 4 in his hand or an overpair).

think folding is fine here since its the 2nd hand going to be better places then this.
based on the minraise c/r on this paired realtive lowboard i think he have a overpair here a lot

i call, then call if he shoves any turn. Doesn't feel like a 4, don't think he would raise that big ever with a 4 or 77, only hand i would be afraid of is 88+ but idc i get it in here or call/call

You think he has air/worse value hands enough here? This seems like a spot you try to avoid early and readless. He can have overpairs, 4x, and 7x that beat us; worse 7x, straight draws that we beat, all flush draws with two cards higher than 7 are a small favorite over us.

Not that it matters a whole lot, but we are slightly ahead of FD

It's hard to narrow down his range in this spot, but I agree that in most cases we are either flip (FD + overs) where we are slightly ahead or heavily dominated (overpair most likely, 4x not very likely but possible). He should have some air/bluff as well and the hands that we beat like 7x and 22-33 and 55-66, but those are not a huge part of his range imo.

So we're rarely ahead of his range, plus I don't think we have much FE if we shove here. This sums up to a fold.. to me it seems.

had he had a big pocket pair he would be slowplayin that given the fact that the flop is unlikey to have hit you. I assume there are tons of hands like AK, AQ, AJ in his hand that are trying to push you off of what is gonna be a worst hand most of the time.
it's a standard call in my opinion(and get it in on the turn no matter what card comes).
