First hand of the match, no reads, villian is a losing player according to his stats, just wanting some opinions on how others woud play this hand? can we give a losing player credit for flopping his flush here?

It's a $1.00, so yes, you can give him credit for flopping a flush. You can also give him credit for the following: QJ, QK, AT, 9T, 55, AA, Jhx-Ahx that missed, 78, 47, etc. Readless at a $1.00 never fold here on the river and you will make money.

Hello, I haven't posted very much, but I have a question. Can't you give him credit for flopping a flush at higher levels as well? Opponent's line looks like slow-played nuts. But I agree that Hero beats most of villain's range.

You can give him credit, but most competent players are going to raise flop or turn for a couple reasons: Another heart could kill the action. Another heart could counterfeit a lot of flushes villain could have. Many people will raise to get it in on the flop with stuff like Ahx, so not raising would miss a lot of value for the person with the flopped flush.

Edit: I wouldn't really worry about the results of this hand. People flop flushes very infrequently; I don't think villain played it great, he should have raised flop or turn imo to get value from lots of stuff. If he had raised, you'd have gotten it in anyway right? Also, think about this: if river was something like 5c, I guarantee you villain would have made the same play and you would have won the tournament.

Yeah, this line looks strong but it's a $1 and I wouldn't be surprised to see something like KhTx here. I'd just shove here at the $1 levels and flat/fold at $6s+.

yeah like i think in general because its first hand of the match and the villian had a nice steady downward ss graph i figured he easily could have a pair + heart type hand here and call 3 streets hoping to hit his flush/two pair, like if he raises or shoves the flop its a much tougher spot and id possibly consider folding but more often then not im gonna call. thanks for the input anyway guys, appreciate it
