$20/$40 No Limit Holdem
2 Players
Hand Conversion Powered by weaktight.com

Stacks:
Hero ($2,670)
BB ($330)

Pre-Flop: ($60, 2 players) Hero is BTN Q 10
Hero raises to $80, BB goes all-in $330, Hero calls $250

I guess itīs instacall because I messed up preflop and comitted to play when villain shoves, but Im definetly not sure?
According to SAGE I should not shove this hand pre but I think itīs too strong to fold? Is limping the best alternative in this situation or did I play it right?
Villain is loose-semiaggro.

just ship it pre when effective stacks are 8.25bb with this hand, some of those tables become ineffective this short stacked.

How is villain ? If he is an agressive player / bluffer he will most likely call with almost anything , since he is under 10 bb. U better wait for a decent/ semi decent hand then (Q 10 I consider it a decent hand to go all in).

If villain is tigth / not tilted and likely to wait for an A / good card before he calls your all in simply shove every hand. The reason is that if he folds like 3 times he loses a third of his stack and it is not likely for him to get a good/premium hand in those 3 times.

As far as I know nash works when both players are using it and I know for sure nobody at the 1$ (I also play these) knows nash.

That is exactly what I am saying although the word "works" is a bit confusing.

As far as I understand , if villain is using nash u cant exploit it so nash works best/ is most eficient as anything u do other than it is like -EV/ gets exloited by nash.

If , in this case, villain is not using nash , the most efficient / +EV strategy is not nash (in this case) , although nash may be a little bit +EV, it is certainly not the most +EV.

ya i agree

i thought maybe you were implying nash was -EV against ppl not using it. I still think it's probably the most +EV against most for beginners than anything else though
