SB: 23.5 BB (VPIP: 80.77, PFR: 56.00, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 31)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8

SB raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Flop: (4 BB, 2 players) A

Hero checks, SB bets 2 BB, Hero??

Just shove all in or 3bet to something like 7bb? New to this format so have a lot to learn i Think...whats the best move?

i would 3bet 7-7.5, but like you i am new to these and may be totally wrong.

If he has an ace, he would probably be raising you anyways so you could end up allin in anyways

thanks for the advice, will make it a bit smaller in future.
What about Cold Calling Q8s from BB here against a minraise? Kinda standard i Think, no Point in 3bet right?
And if the A fells on turn what do you guys do then?
