re: Scarer's WSOP 2012 Package - $18k+ UNPAID TO BACKERS - *Thursday payments reported*

You're not helping yourself or anyone related by popping here only once a week when at the same time your holding other peoples money and having fun travelling.

I can't find any reasons why you would choose this unless there is something going on in the background that you're not telling us.

OP is being pretty disingenuous here so to say you're "obviously not being scammed" is quite naive.

Almito, i am sure all investors would gladly have you pay them 99% what they are owed, and you can get the money back from scarer?

^ good proposition, i'll accept the 99%

he can make like $300 vig or something

btw being 20% off on calculating the numbers the first time is pretty ridic. and obv coming in here once a week/two weeks and denying the chance for investors to get paid back first...

I'm not exactly thrilled about how this all went down. Haven't ever really felt like I wasn't going to get paid back, but really not too sure about why it hasn't been cleared up a lot sooner. But thats not why I came in here. I am still getting a different number for my return. Now I may have my numbers wrong, but Imma throw em out there and see what you's think.

Returns:
#23 - $3000
#36 - $3000
#38 - $1500
#44 - $1000
#46 - $2500
#50 - $5000
#53 - $1500
#54 - $1000
#56 - $1500
#59 - $1000
#61 -$10000
=$31000
*1.25
=$38750
+ $4887 (#21 cash)
=$43637
Making my 1% $436.37

So am I doing something exceptionally ******ed?? Or did you get them wrong a second time?? I apologize in advance if I am wrong, but I also checked the bankroll the opposite way, subtracting all the buyins that you did play, and I got the same numbers.

Your totally right. Not sure why I made this mistake. The numbers I have in my records look like this:

1% Refund = $387.50
1% Cashes = $48.87
Total = $436.37

I've checked all other numbers and they appear to be fine.

Glad my share was small but its getting concerning now. I want a date that you are flying back and also a reason why you have not accepted bogans offer to pay people.
The fact that you miscalculated the payments to be 5k or whatever in your favour is concerning.

If you have problems with paying everyone back you should say so now as if you say there are problems later i, and probably everyone, will not be impressed.

I can somewhat understand that traveling can delay pay outs, but when not taking bogans offer that is crossing the line. Really makes me question what will end up happening. Not like you have to pay out 1000 different people, it shouldn't be a big deal that you pay some people at different times. Feel like you are intelligent enough to be able to handle that. Gl everyone who invested.

I'm sure not one investor in this thread would be upset if bogan paid off the smaller amounts. In fact, I'm sure they would be pleased to see some sort of effort on your part to get this taken care of. It would also make it 10x easier for you to have someone consolidate the dept. Your excuse of not wanting to payoff investors at different times is bullshiit. You degened off that money buying into more events than your bankroll can handle and now your trying to buy more time with these excuses that make NO SENSE instead of coming clean. All you did was manage to piss off your investors, make yourself look bad and hurt the Marketplace with these actions.

It is true that transferred money on Pokerstars must be played with before you are able to transfer to someone else but I'm sure Pokerstars will at least let you send the original transfer back to each person who transferred you money. Contact support and start making some payments soon.

I'm wondering if this type of situation should justify removal of marketplace approval (at least temporarily) while the package is not resolved due to what appears to be inconvenience.

What does everyone else think?

re: Scarer's WSOP 2012 Package - $18k+ UNPAID TO BACKERS - *Thursday payments reported*

He knew beforehand that he'd be traveling the east coast after WSOP and he'd have to hold investors' funds, but he never mentioned it in the OP. That, combined with the way he's handling this (logging in and PMing on here, posting on Twitter about visiting bars and watching Rounders for the hundredth time yet won't provide transparency to those who really need it) seems like enough to warrant removing MP approval. I don't think anyone would buy anything from him again, anyhow.

Also, his reason for not wanting to have Bogan refund investors leaves me scratching my head. When OP returned from his travels he would have to make just one transfer to Dean for the amount he'd covered, which would make the process of sending refunds easier and faster for OP. Either he lacks the deductive reasoning skills to realize Dean's offer made things more convenient for all parties, or he is up to something suspicious. If the former, he should certainly be refunding a percentage of markup from the package like some investors requested, as no one that moronic is a profitable buy at 1.25 in the tournaments he played.

I believe he truly wanted to make things easier for himself by handling all payments at once or something.. bad thing is that he did not thought about investors at all while taking that decision.

gl to everyone who invested money here, i believe you will get your money back, no idea if thats gonna besoon tho.

Countdown on making a post at NVG... not that far away.

Seriously, if it was as simple as getting the Stars account locked and having traveling plans till 29th it still wouldn't be this hard. I'd be **** scared on what would happen to others money and would take care of things ASAP and communicate with everyone if something like this happened to me.

Maybe it's just me, but i've now had enough with this bull**** and hassle with makeup that Im willing to do something. If I, and others dont have our money 36 hours - I will follow with what I see as the best solution on this matter.

I got a PM from him on the 26th saying he arrives home on the 29th and will pay on that date or within a few days afterward.
So hopefully that means payment within the next 48hrs

the fact that he always leaves himself an out "on the 29th or within a few days is a pretty clear sign this guy is stalling.

Interesting that he only PM'd you ( I'm assuming since no one else seems to have gotten one) and he in the past has given some BS as if he couldn't PM me.

To me it's no longer about hope. If we don't see payment by tomorrow I would suggest that this blows up.
