I got a PM from Scarer asking for a stake. He pointed me to the direction of this thread at least so I could see the mayhem here but he also said he does not have marketplace privileges. This should not be happening. I'll report my post to the mods so they can take appropriate action.

Being a 'reference' for Scarer does not mean i 'vouch' for him or recommend him to anyone. He did not ask me if we would be a 'reference' for him. This does not bother me, I just see it as he listed me as someone for people to contact before doing business with him. I would tell them that i had zero problems with him and he was a great horse in general and would obviously direct them to this thread.

I feel people need to be way more cautious in general as people are often using people as 'references' or 'vouches' without their full consent. Also, I think that people have different views of what these words even mean.

Good job paying everyone back Scarer. You dealt with everything here really badly, and if I were an investor I would be very annoyed also. Having said that, paying back is the most important thing and I am glad you made everything right in the end.

For anyone feeling bad about Scarer being banned... I have heard from a few people locally that he's a real scum bag. He's a sick mother ****er and very talented when it comes to poker but his character is not so good. I've never met him IRL so I am just passing on info I have heard but I believe the sources.

That many lies and keeping investors money hostage for so long is enough for perma ban. Community doesn't need people like this.

Called him out at the table on stars today. Didn't realise he'd finished repayments. He got mad. He claimed he's paid everyone back and told me call him scum to his face. I will if I ever meet him.
