I have been friends with scarer over the past 5 years or so . I have had a lot to to with him poker wise and have honestly never had a single problem whilst dealing with him. SO whatever happened I am glad it is all sorted now

I owe the investors an explanation

Initially I’d like to say that I had always intended to pay everyone from the day I played my last WSOP event. During the previous four months I've been given the run around by a so called friend who was giving me endless promises and deadlines on a large amount of money that I had loaned him at the start of the WSOP (some of which was backers money). Obviously, wrongly, I passed those deadlines onto my investors which after the second or third delay started to become worrying and after that farcical. I've been trying to sort this out as soon as I can and in the end have had to sell my house to free up some money. I obviously didn't want to do this initially and gave my 'friend' time and gave you guys excuses or remained dark for a time.

I have to apologize to investors for the various excuses that I used to delay payment (although the mugging was true) but I never thought that it would drag on so long. I also had a conflict when it came to telling the entire 2+2 community the situation as my friend is also a poker player, although not well known. Over the first couple of months of this situation we were still friends and obviously that would have been put in jeopardy. I still have no intention of mentioning his name here as I’ve experienced first hand the verbal abuse and threats that a small amount of the poker community seem to think is warranted or acceptable.

Even though I had a cast iron promise to repay me within a week and every reason to believe the person involved I obviously regret loaning out this money and it was a major mistake.

For those that know me well knew that there was never any danger of people not receiving back their investment. Obviously selling action to a large amount of people, most of whom I don’t know well or at all is a totally different proposition. I’ve handled the communication badly, especially after I cut the package short.

I apologize for all the hassle and uncertainty I’ve caused you guys as investors. As I mentioned before I will try and do something for you guys in the shape of free action in MTT(s) in future after I get back on my feet.

As far as I’m concerned the matter is closed now and I won’t be revisiting the topic for further discussion.

If any of the investors need to clear anything up or just want to have a chat over skype then please PM me.

still not handling it well, if i did all this i would be more than happy to bring all my proves to the community and would feel the need to really answer all the questions so that somebody, someday maybe regain trust in me, this way you are done for sure, if you hadled it in a diff way you would probably still have chance to regain yourself in the community

Very happy to see this, although he did pay his investors back (as he should, before the legal system caught up with him) there is no way he can be trusted on the forums given the way he conducted himself ITT.
