If I have followed this thread correctly, he is able to receive transfers, which according to Stars means his account is not locked, correct?

So he lost all the investors money that he did not use on buy ins on his east coast gambling trip. Or am I reading this thread wrong?

The locked account thing doesnt seem to add up but I doubt he would have paid me back unless he was planning on paying everyone.

Just read the whole of the thread and it is pretty dam disgraceful. The saddest part is that 99% of people on here would never dream of handling a package this bad but will no doubt make it harder for us all to sell packages in the future.It is pretty obvious the original investor has lost the money and im sure the investors would prefer some honesty regarding this. Even if you agree to pay back small sums over a long period of time atleast they will respect you for your honesty.

On a side note I had a package I put up at the early part of the year where i could only play 1 of the events and resheduled to play some alternative events the following month but was unable to due to some family issues. As a gesture of good will I refunded the full package including the 320 euro game i played and also offered them mark up free for my wsop main event package.Im not saying you should refund all the events you have played but if you are genuine and your having one disaster after another I would atleast refund the full mark up on the games you did play.

Anyway good luck to the investors and hope this gets resolved amicable.

On a side note i have often had people transfer me funds from stars and i have always been able to withdraw immediately.

That is what he said without providing any proof. He also said he did not have the money for the buy ins, but he had the money for an east coast gambling vacation. He said his stars account is locked, but it appears it is not. Surely you can see why people would doubt his claim of being mugged.

As a non investor, I have not wanted to comment, but, as a recreational player who peruses the staking threads just to see whats going on mainly, I am shocked at how poorly Scarer has handled this. Firstly, skipping a ton of events and not changing the MU and then the seemingly endless stream of lies that have poured from him since. I too, cannot believe this hasn't blown up more than it has - he's been lucky so far in that respect.

To all investors, I hope you get the truth sooner rather than later.

I dont even have any money tied up. Just annoys me this kinda thing happens, there is a knock on effect to grass roots players who are getting better and looking to sell action.

As I say nothing to do with me, I also understand your loyalty to your friend, but you have to admit the stories made up were ridiculous to stall time.
